The two, Dharma-kshanti and Dharma-jnana, consider the suffering of all three realms as what is abandoned by the path of seeing. Because they consider abandonment and so forth, what is abandoned by the path of seeing is considered to be abandoned simultaneously by all the moments of the path of seeing, that is, the suffering and origin of the three realms are abandoned simultaneously by the path of seeing. It is not that everything to be abandoned by seeing the four truths is abandoned simultaneously. Therefore, only what is abandoned by the path of cultivation becomes two types: simultaneous and gradual abandonment. Therefore, when the first of what is abandoned by the path of cultivation in the desire realm is abandoned, it is simultaneously abandoning the very first of all three realms. For others, it should also be understood in this way. Now, on what kind of person is this placed? Both the scriptures and commentaries say that there is no other than the fruits of Arhat and Stream-enterer. Some say that it is necessary to establish the enterer into Stream-entry and the enterer into Arhatship. Therefore, on the realization of the fifteen moments of the path of seeing, having obtained the sixteenth, and going to abandon what is to be abandoned simultaneously, that is the enterer into Stream-entry and the abiding in the fruit of Stream-entry. From striving to abandon the first affliction of the three realms, to striving to abandon up to the ninth of the three realms, is explained as the enterer into Arhatship. Others say that the reason why the enterer is not explained here is that it has already been explained in the case of gradualness, so the enterer of simultaneousness is also explained indirectly. Although some say that there is no fruit without an enterer, it seems that there is no need to take so much trouble to find the enterer here. As explained before, there are Hearers who, having obtained the sixteenth moment, abandon what is to be abandoned in this way. Therefore, since it cannot be established as Once-returner and Non-returner, it is established as Stream-enterer. Obtaining the fruit of Stream-enterer is not dependent on gradually and simultaneously abandoning some of what is abandoned by the path of cultivation. Therefore, it is not necessary to examine the enterer into Stream-entry of the simultaneous one. Furthermore, in the Compendium of Topics, it says, "After realizing the truths, from then on, it is the limit." For an Arhat, even if an enterer is established, it is only insignificant. Now, how does that person obtain the fruit? In that life, having abandoned all afflictions, in this very life or before death, in the life of existence in the past or in the life of death, most obtain Arhatship, if

If one cannot abandon all defilements and is reborn in the desire realm to attain Arhatship, and at that time there are no Buddhas or Shravakas, and their teachings have declined, then in that final lifetime, one independently manifests enlightenment as desired, and because it is Hinayana, one will become a Pratyekabuddha. Therefore, at the time of immediately abandoning defilements, even if one is not a Pratyekabuddha, it is possible to become a Pratyekabuddha after abandoning them. Now, let's examine whether these eight abodes are also applicable to Pratyekabuddhas. On this, the ancients said that Pratyekabuddhas do not have the two intermediate fruits, and therefore they assert that the path of liberation is also fixed at seventeen, creating many unreliable fabrications. However, it is not considered reasonable, and the reason for not counting the two intermediate fruits is that the explanation that Pratyekabuddhas attain enlightenment immediately has already been refuted. In general, the characteristics of a Pratyekabuddha are roughly as follows: In the Compendium of Topics, in accordance with the aspect of ascertainment, whether one generates what was not previously generated, or attains what was not previously attained, if one manifests enlightenment oneself without the appearance of a Buddha, one becomes like a rhinoceros horn, abiding alone or becoming a Pratyekabuddha, and attains the end of suffering through either accumulation or practice. As it is said, there are Pratyekabuddhas who have not previously practiced the Shravaka path, and those who have practiced it, in two ways. The first is like a rhinoceros horn, not having generated the aspect of ascertainment in previous lifetimes. The second is those who have not attained the fruit, but have only previously practiced the path of application and become Pratyekabuddhas, and those who have only attained the fruit of stream-entry and become Pratyekabuddhas. Furthermore, formerly there were five hundred ascetics who served the five fires, and in a secluded place, a monkey sitting next to a Pratyekabuddha went there, and the monkey showed them the bodily conduct of the Pratyekabuddha, and they did likewise, and thus became five hundred Pratyekabuddhas. Therefore, abiding alone like a rhinoceros horn, not afflicted by the intense asceticism of noble beings, but Pratyekabuddhas who have only previously practiced the path of ordinary beings. For the latter two, they are also called accumulation and abiding, and the size of accumulation and practice seems to be a Tibetan term. Therefore, Pratyekabuddhas like the latter two
