Furthermore, due to habituation, self-grasping will transform, so in some cases, afflictions will be exhausted. This seems to be the meaning. That is, this only proves that in some beings' continuums, there may be a situation of being free from the faults of attachment and so on. For the case of having an end, it must be proven that each sentient being will definitely attain Buddhahood. Since this is possible, but it is not certain to transform into that, it cannot be used as a reason for argument. Therefore, the ultimate argument for the cycle of existence having an end is that, because adventitious stains and the nature of mind are luminous, if they encounter conditions, they are only able to remove obscurations and able to generate antidotes, but this alone cannot prove that the cycle of existence has an end, because the fruit being able to arise and necessarily arising are contradictory. For example, it is like using a seed as a sign to argue that a sprout will definitely grow. Furthermore, since each Buddha and Bodhisattva will place many sentient beings in Nirvana, the cycle of existence will be exhausted, because it is with decrease and without increase, for example, like a pile of grain, this statement is also unreasonable, because the decrease of sentient beings becoming fewer has not been established, because for the basis of becoming more or less, there must be a definite amount, but for the realm of sentient beings, this has not been established. For example, like space. Considering this meaning, in the Samgrahani it says: "This wheel of ignorance has no end, no increase." In the Bhadracaryapranidhana it also says: "How much the limit of space reaches, so is the limit of all sentient beings." Therefore, saying that all beings will attain Buddhahood refers to considering that if they encounter conditions, there is the possibility of transforming into that. Just as Asanga said, the sutra says "Even Asanga has a final," which refers to considering that all sentient beings have the possibility of being completely purified without any difference. Second, the Bodhisattva who has generated the mind of unsurpassed Bodhi, by gaining autonomy over afflictions, practices Bodhi for a long time, that is, through the wisdom of the path, the afflictions that are the cause of taking birth in the cycle of existence, in all states of the stage of the path, are not intentionally sought to be abandoned, that is, not abandoning them, this is said to be the nature or essence of the wisdom of the path in his continuum, because until the cycle of existence remains, it is for the benefit of sentient beings.

It is just the beginning of taking action. The former has pervasiveness, otherwise the conduct of Bodhi will not be complete. Here, "generating the mind" means clinging to the generation of the mind, regarding both the essence and function as the generation of the mind, and in the Ornament of Realization, explaining the explanation of the wisdom of the path as expressing each other's meaning, which is not the case. Because here, if the wisdom of the path is applied to the three of allowance, determination of the object, and pervasiveness, then it must also be applied to the remaining two, because there is no reason to distinguish. If "generating the mind for Bodhi" is linked to the generation of the mind, then in the Ornament of Realization, it will also appear that "generating the mind for Bodhi is impossible to abandon all defilements only through the wisdom of the path," because this is its nature, so it will also lead to the same fault. So, what is the defilement that is not abandoned? There are two answers to this: pointing out the cause of rebirth, and determining it through refutation. The first point is divided into two parts, what is explained from the treatises is: In the Sunlight Treatise, it says: "The habit that is completely non-existent is the habit that is included in the leakage of ignorance and views, but the Bodhisattva, in order to consciously take rebirth, is not included in the leakage of the desire realm and the realm of existence." It is said like this. These two habits are also explained as the abodes of the two desires of the desire realm and the upper realm, so it is necessary to agree with this. The second point is explained from the sutras, also divided into two parts, what appears from the Question of Sagacious Ocean is: "Thus, what is the defilement of their cause of samsara, which is in accordance with the root of virtue? For example, not being satisfied with completely seeking the accumulation of merit, completely clinging to consciously taking rebirth, pursuing meeting with the Buddha, not being tired of maturing sentient beings, diligently upholding the Dharma, striving for all the affairs of sentient beings, not being separated from the mind of attachment to the Dharma, and not abandoning the continuous practice of the Paramitas." It is said like this, these are eight kinds. If these are roots of virtue, then they are not defilements, so the question is asked that "defilements in accordance with the roots of virtue" is unreasonable. In the same sutra, it says: "World Honored One, when is it the root of virtue, then for what reason does it become a defilement?"
