Pages 673 to 700. Pages 673 to 700. The extensive commentary on the Ornament for Clear Realization, together with its connections, the Well-Spoken Golden Rosary, the explanation of the section on the very knowledge of the path. Second, the detailed explanation of the limbs of the path of attainment is in three parts: connecting with a statement of connection, detailed explanation of the dharma of path knowledge, and summarizing the section. The first is: Path knowledge is explained below omniscience. The connection is that the complete knowledge of the path, that is, realizing omniscience without attainment, is because there is no attainment, so it is the cause. The sutra connection is that omniscience has been explained, and it was spoken when the sons of the gods from the Four Great Kings to the Pure Abodes gathered as an entourage. The second part is in two: the limbs of the path and the path with limbs. The first part is in two: indicated by the root text and explained by the commentary. The first part is in two: the support of path knowledge and the distinction of path knowledge that depends on it. The first is: The light of the Tathagata makes the light of the gods of the desire and form realms dim, that is, without splendor. In the presence of the light of the Tathagata's own nature, the light born from the ripening of the gods is not bright, not radiant, not clear, but only the light of the Tathagata is most excellent. It is said that next to the gold of the Jambu River, black iron is not bright, etc., combining the example and the meaning. Making the minds of the gods of the desire and form realms suitable vessels, that is, Indra said to Subhuti, if these gods have come wishing to hear you explain the Prajnaparamita, how does the great Bodhisattva abide in the Prajnaparamita? What is the Prajnaparamita? Combining the eighth chapter of this sutra, combining these two verses separately with the sutra. Its meaning is that when one is previously suppressed by the light, arrogance is diminished, and one generates faith in the one with special power, and generates the mind of enlightenment in order to attain Buddhahood, at that time Subhuti is considered to have become a suitable vessel for hearing the Prajnaparamita of path knowledge. In the Sunlight Commentary and the Explanation, destroying arrogance is made the root necessity, and the ability to generate path knowledge is made the necessity. The second part is in three: the order of arising, the essence, and the distinction of function. The first part is in two: the temporary and the ultimate order of arising. The first is: Temporary arising

The determination in each realm is: Those sons of gods who have not generated the unsurpassed perfect Bodhi mind, they should also be made to generate the unsurpassed perfect Bodhi mind. But those who have entered perfectly and without fault, they do not have the power to generate the unsurpassed perfect Bodhi mind. What is the reason for that? Because they have cut off (saṃtāna) the continuity of samsara. Therefore, for those who have not generated the Bodhi mind, there is no share of abiding in the mother of the path of knowledge, so it shows that abiding in that one must generate the mind, so it is said that Bodhisattvas are the vessels of the path of knowledge, while Śrāvakas, Pratyekabuddhas, etc., are not. In the Heart Essence, those who have entered perfectly and without fault refer to those who have attained Nirvana through inferior paths, and cutting off refers to cutting off the bridge of samsara. For example, the stream-enterer who returns seven times, and those born from lineage to lineage, cannot attain unsurpassed Bodhi, because they never desire Bodhi, because they are Śrāvakas, who are the only ones who walk on the path of peace. In the Complete One, it is also said that not being born in the path of peace is for that meaning, and it is believed that the universal meaning is that Śrāvakas completely transform into Bodhi, which is also well known. In the Ornament of Light Commentary, the meaning of determining reality is to realize in all paths such as the path of seeing of Śrāvakas, and the meaning of cutting off is to abandon all afflictions, cutting off the cause of being born in samsara. In the Destruction of the Three Harms, it is extremely wrong to say that sentient beings who are determined to be inverted, because they have not cut off. In the Small Destruction of Harms, it is said that those above the stream-enterer are determined to be real, and the meaning of cutting off refers to Śrāvakas who fear samsara, so they abandon it and pursue peace. Second, the three lineages ultimately pervade the cultivation of the path of knowledge: However, if they also generate the unsurpassed perfect Bodhi mind, they should also rejoice in them. This previously showed that it was not possible, but this also shows that generating the mind is pervasive. Second, the nature of not abandoning samsara is: I do not create obstacles to the virtuous aspects of those. It means that I do not create obstacles to the virtuous aspects of those Śrāvakas, that is, the aspect of generating the mind, which cannot arise. Third, the function of the path of knowledge is: From the particularly excellent categories of Dharma.
