It is unreasonable to refute that there is a need to explain the ground, as this teacher refutes that it is unreasonable because it is impossible on the path of learning. What is meant here is not the non-learning of the five paths, but as explained in the Abhisamayalankara. Moreover, in the Mahayana path of learning, the name of non-learning is established, and it appears many times in sutras and treatises. Fourth, seeing the nature of reality oneself, one enters the four immeasurables in order to be happy to benefit others. If one does not cultivate in conjunction with the Prajnaparamita, one will only be reborn in the Brahma realm, so one must combine it with the six perfections. Fifth, when entering the benefit of others with these four, the bondage or obstacle is manifest attachment, so one enters into not focusing on all dharmas. Sixth, how does one who possesses the yoga of no self-nature enter? Thinking that one does not focus on the three: the agent, the action, and the object, one enters into all things in the manner of a magical person, with the purity of the three spheres. Seventh, those who act in this way enter into acting for the sake of the three great purposes in order to strive for their own attainment. Eighth, those who strive for the purpose of things strive to know the minds of others, etc., and therefore enter into the six superknowledges. Ninth, those who have attained superknowledge, when they have not fully known all knowable things, think, "Now I should attain the wisdom of omniscience," and thus generate a strong desire to become a Buddha, and therefore enter into omniscience. Thus, the nature of abiding correctly in those objects, that is, the nature of these nine entrances, suppresses or transcends all the cause and effect dharmas of the Mahayana, and therefore it is the accomplishment of entrance. Second, divided into two: Explaining the difference between the formless samadhis and the four immeasurables. First, divided into four: What is the cause of attainment? What is the nature of what is attained? What is the sign of such attainment? The person who attains. First, divided into three: Explaining the method of attaining the first samadhi. Showing that the rest are the same as this. Thinking about where the ninth path belongs. First, from the Compendium: One enters into the first samadhi with seven mental engagements. What are the seven mental engagements? They are: the mental engagement that is skillful in characteristics, the mental engagement that arises from faith and desire, the mental engagement that is extremely secluded, the mental engagement that gathers joy and pleasure, the mental engagement of observation, and the limit of application.
