Transformation, because it is impossible for all sentient beings to attain Buddhahood simultaneously with oneself. If all sentient beings attain Buddhahood, then there is no need for oneself to attain Buddhahood, just like shaving one's head and then counting the days. Therefore, even if it is said that the mind of enlightenment like a king is what is said in the scriptures, and only this, but there are many impossibilities in the Bodhisattva's mind training, and there are also many vows that cannot be fulfilled, so those refutations are unreasonable. Therefore, like a king, although it is often said in various treatises, the way of the Bodhisattva's mind training is inconceivable, so it is possible. Third, it is said in the Bodhicaryāvatāra: Like the supreme form of the alchemical elixir, having taken this impure body, it is transformed into the body of the Victorious One, because it is transformed into a priceless jewel, the name of Bodhicitta should be firmly held. Having generated Bodhicitta, in an instant, the miserable ones bound in the prison of samsara are called the sons of the Sugatas, and the gods and humans of the world will prostrate. It is said in the Heart Sutra Commentary: If Bodhicitta is not generated, then Buddhahood will never be attained, and there is no other way to accomplish the benefit of others in samsara. This is the situation and the ultimate result that is spoken of. In short, in the Śrīmālādevī Siṃhanāda Sūtra, it is said: The merit of Bodhicitta, if it had a form, then the realm of space would be completely filled, and it would be even more transcendent. These are all. Thus, the classification, nature, recognition, benefits, and boundaries of the mind of enlightenment, because the time is ripe, I have also briefly explained. Although the Lamas have listed and explained the various ways in which the root downfalls, root mind, and branch minds are established separately in the rituals of generating the mind of enlightenment, those seem to be too fond of elaborate explanations, so I have not bothered, but have sought out the connections of all the treatises and explained them, then even a single verse cannot be explained until the end of life. Second, divided into two: nature and classification. First, divided into two: the actual nature and its combination with the scriptures. First, divided into three, from the combination, the nature of the mind generator itself, what is the object of focus.

and others were spoken together. The teaching is: The generation of Bodhicitta in the Mahayana is for the sake of all sentient beings other than oneself, desiring to attain perfect and complete enlightenment. However, what is this "desire"? It is the desire mentioned when it is said that Bodhisattvas should strive for the Mother (Prajnaparamita) through this desire and that desire. If one does not know its definition, then this is what is said to be pursued in the Twenty Thousand Verse Sutra. That is, at the time of the initial generation of Bodhicitta, the Bodhisattva, as the basis, will strive in this way: "I must definitely become a Buddha, and I must accomplish the benefit of others." The explanation is: The reason for saying "spoken" is because one wants to arrange the immediately preceding root as the content to be explained, and "ཏེ་" is a word that guides the explanation. This should be understood in all subsequent chapters without special provisions. There are two aspects here: the actual definition and the refutation of arguments. The first aspect has three parts: The nature of the generation of Bodhicitta, which has emptiness and compassion as its essence, is: The definition of wanting to attain perfect and complete enlightenment in order to liberate others from the cause and effect of samsara and to place them in the cause and effect of nirvana. The divisions are: the two types of Bodhicitta, which are the nature of aspiration and engagement. The way to generate Bodhicitta is: After one becomes a Buddha in the future, one should strive for the benefit of other trainable beings by teaching the Dharma of the three vehicles, etc., according to their respective capacities. The initial generation of Bodhicitta as the cause is aspiration, and like aspiration, the generation of Bodhicitta as the result is the way to generate engagement Bodhicitta in order to perfect the means to accomplish enlightenment. The second part has two: argument and answer. The first is: How can the desire for perfect and complete enlightenment itself be Bodhicitta? Because it is not Bodhicitta. Because the desire to pursue perfect enlightenment is the desire for virtuous Dharma, which arises from the mind, and in short, it belongs to the mental factors of the five definite objects. It is universally present, because it is said that a mental factor with two meanings arises from great joy. The mind that arises in conjunction with a friendly mind and the benefit of other beings and Bodhi
