The three actions arising from attachment are both virtuous and non-virtuous actions. The action arising from hatred is non-virtuous. From ignorance, both types of actions can be accumulated. The cessation of action immediately after it is done is merely a nominal statement. The remainder prevents the cessation of inherent existence. Then, when the time and moment of death are near, the projective force of the karma similar to it is exhausted. When the last consciousness ceases, it is like a beautiful woman in the human realm waking up from sleep, the mind will immediately turn to her. It is said. Similar fate, that is, the aggregates of the same kind, when the karma existing in this life is exhausted, when the last consciousness of this life ceases, just as a person with attachment remembers the beauty in a dream as soon as he wakes up, the mind will turn to the power of the karma that matures in the next life at the time of death, not to the memory. Thus, when the last consciousness ceases, the first consciousness belonging to birth arises either among the gods or among the pretas. It is said that the last cessation is of this life. The first consciousness belonging to birth arises, as it is said, among the gods, etc. Because the intermediate state is not the six realms, it is the consciousness of rebirth. Although there is an intermediate state between birth and death, there are many cases where it is not mentioned, so the main focus is on birth and death to determine the relationship between karma and fruit. Then, as soon as the first consciousness ceases, the place where maturation will be experienced appears, and a stream of mind similar to it arises. Great King, there is no Dharma that transfers from this world to another world, nor is there a manifestation of death's transference and birth. Great King, that cessation of the last consciousness is called the transference of death, and that arising of the first consciousness is called birth. Great King, when the last consciousness ceases, it does not go anywhere. When consciousness arises belonging to birth, it does not come from anywhere. Why is that?

If asked why? Because of emptiness of inherent existence. Great King, for that Great King, the last consciousness aggregate is empty, empty by the last consciousness aggregate. Death is empty by death. Karma is empty by karma. The first consciousness aggregate is empty by the first consciousness aggregate. Birth is empty by birth, but karma will not be wasted, it will also manifest. Thus it is said, because experiencing the result of past karma connecting life and death, namely happiness and suffering, therefore the stream of consciousness experiencing it, arises from the first mind of birth, death and birth are only nominal existences, they do not exist in ultimate truth, and the reason for this is emptiness of inherent existence, this is the difference to be negated, namely the last consciousness aggregate etc. are said to be empty by themselves. Having explained it in this way, fearing that someone might think that there is no karma and result, it is said that karma will not be wasted. The third part has two: refuting the dispute of producing maturation without end, and refuting the dispute of contradicting the scriptural statements that state the existence of the Alaya consciousness. The first part is: If it is thought that karma is not born from inherent existence, so inherent existence has no end, therefore maturation will arise, then similarly, what has already matured will also mature again, therefore there will be the fault of having no end, if you think like this. Just like, for example, just as the object is not truly existent, a person with blurred vision sees the appearance of non-existent hairs etc., but does not see the appearance of other things, such as the horns of a donkey and the son of a barren woman etc. Similarly, karma is not established by inherent existence, just like this, know that what has not matured will mature, and what has matured will not mature again. From this example, not only can it be determined that the result of karma will definitely be achieved, but also the pleasant and unpleasant results of good and bad karma will also be determined separately, just as eyes with blurred vision see hairs etc., and do not see the horns of a donkey etc., therefore pleasant maturation will not arise from non-virtue, and unpleasant maturation will not arise from virtue. Therefore, non-virtuous maturation, that is, unpleasant, arises from black karma, virtuous maturation
