Pages 301 to 400. Pages 301 to 400. Oh. That is, even though afflictions have been eliminated by the path of no outflow, the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas cannot eliminate them, just as even if sesame oil and flowers, etc., have been removed, subtle qualities can be discerned when they encounter vases and coarse cloths, etc. Thus it is said. Other habitual imprints, such as those of virtue and non-virtue, should also be applied to how they can become two bases. Now, although there is no object to be abandoned by the path of seeing at the time of the uninterrupted path of seeing, there must be a latent tendency of what is to be abandoned by meditation. At that time, the mind's consciousness is uncontaminated by the habitual imprints of dualistic appearance, so it is unreasonable for that latent tendency to abide in its essence. Moreover, sense consciousness is not its support, nor is form its support, and since the all-ground consciousness is not accepted, it would become without support. If you think so, there is no fault, because at that time, just a mere "I" is the support of the latent tendency of what is to be abandoned by meditation. Other abandonments and antidotes should also be understood in the same way. If one understands the unique way in which this system establishes persons, then in the continuum of the noble ones born in the three realms of the sphere of infinite space, the sphere of infinite consciousness, and the sphere of nothingness, when the supramundane mind of no outflow manifests, since there is no other mundane mind, the aggregates of those realms will cease. Thus it is said. In the case of a noble one born in the peak of existence, when the mind of no outflow belonging to the sphere of nothingness manifests, the aggregates encompassed by both the peak of existence and the sphere of nothingness will cease, because the place of that mind of no outflow is incompatible with those two aggregates and the aggregates of nirvana. It is evident that the reasons stated do not harm, because even if neither the mind with outflow nor the mind without outflow is established as the defining characteristic of those aggregates, it is sufficient to establish the aggregates. The doctrine of the former side is that the nature of the aggregates of those who have not entered the path and those who are still learning is established as obscured and unspecified. How could someone like me be able to explain the great systems with my own power? However, like the intention of the Protector Nagarjuna, to the systems of the great charioteers who are able to perfectly establish

It is said based on that. Considering these, it is evident that the remaining reasonings for establishing the ālaya-vijñāna also do not harm this system. Those who are intelligent, detailed, and sharp should investigate. Secondly, explaining the meaning of the result arising from the cessation of previous actions through examples: In a dream, one sees objects such as a beautiful woman, and then awakens. Even upon awakening, a foolish person, focusing on what has ceased and is now non-existent, develops strong attachment. Similarly, even from the cessation of actions that do not inherently exist, the result of actions can arise. Thus, it is taught that results arise from the cessation of actions. As evidence for this, the Sutra of the Transference of Existence states: "Great King, for example, a person dreams of enjoying themselves with a beautiful woman in a dream while sleeping. When they wake up from sleep, they remember the beautiful woman. Great King, what do you think? If someone dreams of fully enjoying themselves with a beautiful woman in a dream, and upon waking up from sleep, remembers the beautiful woman, is that person of a wise nature?" They replied, "Bhagavan, no. Why is that? Bhagavan, the beautiful woman in the dream does not exist and is invisible. How could there be enjoyment with her? In this way, that person will become one with a destiny of poverty and exhaustion." This quotation illustrates the example. Connecting it with the meaning: "Great King, similarly, childish ordinary people who lack learning, upon seeing forms with their eyes, strongly cling to the forms that bring pleasure to the mind. Having become strongly attached, they generate desire. Having generated desire, they perform actions with body, speech, and mind, arising from desire, arising from hatred, and arising from ignorance. Having performed those actions, they cease. After ceasing, they do not exist relying on the east, up to not being in any of the intermediate directions." Thus, it is said that lacking learning means not realizing the true nature from hearing the teachings that reveal it. Strong attachment is clinging to what is true.
