It seems like that. He thought like this: These three realms are only mind. The twelve links of dependent origination, which were thoroughly explained and taught by the Tathagata, all depend on a single mind. This was extensively taught in the sutra. That sutra establishes the oneness without a doer or a feeler, and when explaining the meaning of "mind-only," it states that the twelve links depend on a single mind. Therefore, the word "only" in this sutra does not negate the meaning, but it does negate a doer other than the mind. Regarding this, the previous view comes from the Compendium of Determinations: "Regarding this, the scripture is what the Bhagavan said in the Ten Bhumis Sutra: 'For example, these three realms are only mind.'" When inferring that all phenomena are only consciousness, both scripture and reasoning are mentioned, and here the scripture is cited. In the auto-commentary of the Twenty Verses, that scripture is also cited, and it is considered that "mind" refers to that which is associated with mental factors. It is explained that mentioning "only" is to negate meaning. Negating this as before was first done by Lekden, and then by Chandrakirti. The second view is: The word "only" in "mind-only" negates other doers, which is explained as the meaning of the Ten Bhumis Sutra. In order to show that other sutras also explain the same meaning, it is explained: Because the word "only" negating other doers is the meaning of the Ten Bhumis Sutra, in order to increase the wisdom of the wise who are able to realize suchness, from the Lankavatara Sutra, the all-knowing one, with the vajra of the nature of speech that destroys the high mountain of the evil view of the tirthikas' self and lord, etc., and the doer of the world, which arises from below, the teacher spoke the following in order to cut off the intention of "mind-only" spoken in other sutras. The vajra is: Person, continuum, and aggregates, Likewise, conditions and particles, Lord, Ishvara, and the doers, I say are only mind. As stated in the Lankavatara Sutra: From the person to those who speak of Ishvara and the doer, it is not them, but I say that only mind is the doer. This is how it is stated. In order to clarify the meaning of this sutra, it is explained: As it is, that is, as the established tenets of each of their own treatises, the tirthikas speak of the person and the continuum, aggregates, etc.

Those who are said to be the doers, (the Buddha) did not see them as the doers, but the Victorious One (Buddha) said that only the mind is the doer of the world. In the root text, "the heretics" refers to most cases, because even Buddhists only impute the pudgala and continuum as the doers. Or, those who conceive the pudgala, etc., as the doers are not Buddhists, because like the heretics, they do not truly understand the real meaning of the Buddha's teachings. Therefore, the word "heretic" is universally applicable. In the Ratnavali it is also said: "If someone says the pudgala aggregates, the world, the Samkhya, the owl, the naked ones, etc., if there is cessation, ask them if they say they transcend existence and non-existence. Therefore, the teachings spoken by the Buddhas, transcend both immortality and existence and non-existence, the profound Dharma is the key, know that this is the treasury of Dharma." If someone says that the pudgala and aggregates are real, if they say that they transcend the two extremes of existence and non-existence, you should ask them, they will not be able to explain the meaning of it. Therefore, the meaning of the teachings is to transcend the two extremes of existence and non-existence, this is the key to the supreme Dharma, that is, a special Dharma that other sects do not have, you should know. Samsara has no beginning, so what kind of evil discriminations have not arisen in the past? What will not arise in the future? Just like now, it also appears that some people regard the aggregates, etc., possessed by white-robed practitioners, etc., as real and regard them as the doers. Some versions also say "white monkey", etc., and in the translation of the commentary it is "Bhikkhu Xia Seng". Pages 301 to 400.
