It is also believed that it is not contradictory for karma to produce results after a long time. Because karma leaves imprints on the alaya consciousness, the imprints are the result of karma. Because similar types continue, eventually results are produced, so it is believed that the result of the initial karma arises from the continuation. Similarly, the other three situations should also be understood. The first of these is some Mind-Only proponents. The second is the Sautrantika school, which was said by Avalokiteshvara Shantaraksita, which is different from the Kashmirian Sautrantika. The third is also one of the Sautrantika. The fourth is not clearly stated, but if it matches the ninth chapter of the Abhidharmakosha, it seems to be the view of the Sutra school and the Kashmirian Sautrantika. Although the Kashmirians acknowledge attainment, they do not believe that from the attained dharma, the two can produce attainment, but here it is believed that way, which is the meaning of "according to whose view." According to whose view is the Madhyamaka-Prasangika? According to the view that karma is not born from its own nature, because that karma is of its own nature, that is, imperishable, it is not contradictory for results to arise from karma that is imperishable by nature, therefore, even if the alaya consciousness etc. are not acknowledged, because karma is able to produce results from it. In some sentient beings' continuums, after karma is done and extinguished, after a long time, after many eons, it should also be known that true results arise from karma, that is, cause and effect are not mistaken. In this way, for this school, the relationship between karma and result becomes very reasonable. The meaning of those is that, as before, although the four questioners all acknowledge that karma has arising and ceasing that is established by its own characteristics, and believe that the extinction after karma is done is established by its own nature. To this, this teacher believes that even if it is such extinction, there is no fault in acknowledging the alaya consciousness etc., it is unreasonable to answer in this way, because in the way that is established by its own nature, karma has no arising and ceasing, this is refutation. In order to show that that way of answering is the view of the noble ones, the Root Wisdom says, "Why is karma not existent? Thus, nature is not existent. Why is it non-existent? Therefore, it will not decay." Because karma is not established by its own nature.

Because there is no arising, it does not arise by its own nature. Therefore, it is impossible for karma to cease by its own nature. After karma is created, if one considers cessation to be established by its own nature and clings to it as not being wasted, this is unreasonable. This is its meaning. Although this reasoning is stated to refute non-wastage, there is no difference in refuting the other three, because the reasons are completely the same. Also, as stated in the sutra: 'The lifespan of humans is one hundred years, although it is said that they can live that long, years do not accumulate into a pile, this argument is also the same.' What is said to be inexhaustible, and what is said to be karma exhausted, is inexhaustible from the perspective of emptiness, and shown to be exhausted from the perspective of convention. Quoting this sutra is to explain that there is no cessation or cessation established by its own nature, and these two are the basis for being established by convention. In the translation of Naktsö it says: 'Years accumulated into a pile, just like non-existence is truly, this assembly should also be observed.' These are all spoken with the distinction of 'nature, that is, not stopping' added to the object of negation. The third part is divided into two points: cessation is not established by its own nature, which becomes the reason for not admitting the Alaya consciousness, and not admitting the Alaya consciousness, but establishing the basis of habituation. The first point is: If it is said that there is no cessation established by its own nature, but in one's own school it is sometimes said that 'karma has ceased,' and 'cessation and no nature.' As 'shown to be exhausted from the perspective of convention' says, after karma is created, it must be admitted that that karma has ceased. If at this time cessation is not real, and the Alaya consciousness etc. are not admitted as the basis of the relationship between karma and result, then it is unreasonable for the result to arise after a long time has passed since the karma ceased, because the seed exists. If it is argued that the previous answer cannot be established, then there is no fault. Because the reason itself that 'because it does not stop by its own nature, therefore' can establish the later result arising from the destruction of the destruction of karma, so no separate answer is given. That is to say, for all schools that believe that things are established by their own nature, destruction cannot be real, while for the Madhyamaka school that believes that it is not established by its own nature, destruction is the key to being established as real. For the first view, when something like a sprout is destroyed.
