The wisdom of clinging, because relying on you, one cannot be liberated from samsara, because you are the main factor of the cause of samsara. Regarding the view that denies cause and effect, in the former case, you are the source of all faults. The second case is, regarding existence and non-existence, etc., the wisdom that realizes the emptiness of inherent existence of things, because relying on you, great noble beings can be liberated from samsara, because you are the real antidote to the cause of samsara. The third case is, regarding the four lines beginning with "that," respectively, although dependent origination is without inherent existence, it is necessary to show that samsara with its own characteristics is to be abandoned, and that nirvana with its own characteristics is to be attained, because in order to dispel the clinging to samsara and nirvana with their own characteristics as things to be abandoned and attained, it is said in this way. After explaining in this way, clinging can be dispelled, because when aversion arises merely towards samsara, aversion easily arises towards the inherent characteristics of samsara. It is unreasonable that, relative to the equipoise that sees reality, samsara and nirvana are shown as things to be abandoned and attained. Because the abandonment and attainment of those two by that wisdom are not established as different things to be abandoned and attained. The reason for this is that samsara and nirvana do not have inherent existence. Third, the six lines beginning with samsara, for dependent origination without inherent existence, it is possible to attain nirvana. Because relying on familiarizing oneself with the wisdom that realizes that samsara is without inherent existence, the cessation that is separated from sudden defilements is nirvana. Such nirvana, in appearance, is without inherent existence and is similar to illusion, because the phenomena that arose earlier, except for relying on the phenomena of the cause that appear later, there is no reason for it to appear independently. Second, in the detailed explanation, the way to obtain the result, establishing the basis, and the way to enter the path. First, showing that it is unreasonable to attain nirvana according to the tenets of the Hearers' school, and showing that one's own tenets are reasonable. First, generally showing nirvana, and specifically refuting it. First, the inference that the realization of nirvana is unreasonable, and the inference that exhaustion is unreasonable. First, the three lines beginning with aggregates, because the self-characteristics of the aggregates are destroyed and the continuum is cut off, therefore it is inferred that nirvana is attained, and because of realizing that compounded phenomena are without inherent existence, therefore it is inferred that nirvana cannot be attained. Answer, the self-characteristics of both afflictions and suffering

Because of attaining Nirvana through the power of pacification. If asserted, then the manifestation of Nirvana is unreasonable, because at the time of the disintegration of the aggregates, there is no person who manifests Nirvana. When there is a person, the disintegration of the aggregates is unreasonable. Secondly, it is unreasonable to have the knowledge of exhaustion, such as thinking that my birth is exhausted when one attains Arhatship, because at the time of Arhatship, the aggregates exist with their own nature of arising. If it is said like "disintegration" etc., then the meaning of the sutra "birth is exhausted" is unreasonable, the reason is the same as before. The second is to refute the Nirvana with remainder and without remainder. First, if etc. two sentences, the Nirvana with remainder of the exhaustion of afflictions is unreasonable, because the nature of the aggregates themselves exists without ceasing. The pervasion is unreasonable, because as long as there is clinging to the aggregates, then the ego-grasping will arise. Second, whatever etc. two sentences, the Nirvana without remainder of the complete cessation of the aggregates is unreasonable, because in the stage of remainder, the aggregates exist by their own nature, and if it exists, then afflictions will arise by focusing on it. The self-tradition considers that attaining Nirvana is reasonable, it is reasonable to attain Nirvana by relying on the habituation of the view of no self-nature, and to show that cessation is like illusion. First, at the time of manifesting Nirvana, it is shown that there is no difference in essence from the wisdom of realizing the nature of reality. First, non- etc. six sentences, formations etc. phenomena, there is no arising by self-nature, because if it existed, then the noble one's meditative wisdom should see it, but it is not seen. Because it is unreasonable not to see it, because it arises from the power of non-reasoning causes. The latter two sentences, it is reasonable to manifest Nirvana for no self-nature, because relying on the realization and habituation of no self-nature, thereby in the stage of remainder where afflictions are completely exhausted, one attains Nirvana in this life, and performs deeds such as Brahma conduct and powerful actions. This "this" word indicates that my birth is exhausted, and from this like not knowing other existences. Second, if etc. six sentences, the literalists who are not proficient in suchness have not seen, because they have not directly seen the meaning of the single taste of interdependent origination. Real
