Seeing the view of clinging to characteristics as the source of all faults, it is in order to abandon all views of clinging to characteristics. What is the name of the teacher? Because he was born into the lineage of the ascetic Gautama, he is called Gautama. Although this verse is from the twenty-seventh chapter, all the teachings previously explained, that is, the meaning of dependent origination, explained as the meaning of no self-nature, are regarded as the kindness of the teacher's teachings, so they are prostrated to, so it is just explained separately from the twenty-seventh chapter. In the Entering the Middle Way: "Because things arise dependently, these discriminations cannot be examined. Therefore, by this reasoning of dependent origination, it cuts off all nets of evil views." It is said. The Clear Words also says: The dependent origination in the context of offering praise is also combined here to show the meaning of being free from the eight extremes. The very reason of dependent origination, which arises from causes and conditions, prevents the eight extremes and all evil views, which is shown in both the beginning and the end of the treatise. The entire body of the treatise also explains this, so one should strive for the king of reasons, the reason of dependent origination, and expand the view of the essence of the definitive meaning of understanding the profound Middle Way in one's own and others' continuums. Third, the meaning of the conclusion is: The verses of the Root Verses on the Middle Way, called Wisdom, have already been explained. Mahayana, as mentioned earlier, refers to the meaning of extensively explaining the non-self of all phenomena. The Dharma Abhidhamma Vibhāṣā is part of that collection. By "showing the ultimate reality as it is," it shows that it is based on the Dharma Abhidhamma of ultimate reality. The Perfection of Wisdom refers to the Hundred Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom, etc., and the one who clarifies its principles very clearly is the great master, the noble Nāgārjuna, who possesses unassailable wisdom and compassion. The Tathagata prophesied that he would clarify the principles of the unsurpassed vehicle, and he clarified it as prophesied. First, he attained the Joyful Ground, and later he went to the Pure Land of Sukhavati. In the future, in the world called "Extremely Pure Light," he will become the Tathagata Jnanasambhavatejas Tathagata, so his actions are true.

Completed. How was such a treatise translated in the snowy land? It was by the decree of the great king, the lord of great power, glorious Lha Tsenpo, that the great Indian abbot, the Madhyamika Jñana Garbha (Wisdom Essence), and the Tibetan translator, the monk Choero Luyi Gyaltsen, translated it from Sanskrit into Tibetan, and carefully revised the words and meanings. This treatise has four hundred and forty-nine verses and is divided into two and a half volumes. Later, it was further revised very well by the Pandit Hasumati of the unparalleled city, and the Tibetan translator, the Sakya monk Nyima Drak, in accordance with the commentary. The great treasury of the Sugata's excellent teachings, for beings wandering in the thicket of samsara, compassionately pours down the rain of the nectar of the sacred Dharma, all of which is the most excellent and supreme. If one can realize it, one can completely eradicate all faults, that is the profound talk of dependent origination. It is also called selflessness, and the Middle Way free from extremes. This path is highly praised in all the scriptures, but due to the clinging views of one's own and others' schools, it has been completely obscured and has not become clear. Seeing this, the second Buddha, Nagarjuna, as a guide, prophesied it in many sutras and tantras, and elucidated the essence of the Buddha's teachings—emptiness, and the supreme treatise that explains the freedom from the extremes of existence and non-existence, that is the glorious Root Wisdom. This very treatise has been clarified by many commentaries by scholars who uphold the supreme tradition of the noble ones, but only the accomplished master Buddhapālita has fully and completely explained the intention of the noble ones. Like the scriptures that move unimpeded in the sky, and the glorious Chandrakirti, who possesses the white light that dispels the heat of clinging, his two commentaries are like the sun and moon in the sky. This meaning is subtle and very difficult to understand, and therefore has greatly declined for a long time. Seeing this situation, the treasure of wisdom and compassion, revered as a continuous deity, and through long study of all the scriptures, especially the Madhyamika treatises, perfectly understood the views of the two scholars, and this commentary that comes from that understanding is perfected by a great accumulation of merit.
