Because it appears not to the container merely from the perspective of appearance, but appears that way from its own side. When the wisdom of the Buddha's knowledge of all that exists appears as things tainted by the imprints of ignorance, for individuals with the taint of ignorance, these appear to the Buddha only through the mode of appearance. It is not that they appear that way independently of others, but that they appear from the Buddha's own side. Therefore, the Buddha's knowledge of forms, sounds, etc., appearing as such even though they are not established by their own characteristics, is also from the perspective of appearing that way to those with ignorance. It is not that the Buddha knows in a way that appears that way from his own side, independently of appearing to that individual. Therefore, there is no reason to be deluded by appearance. In that case, from the perspective of the knowledge of all that exists itself, all things appear as unreal and illusory in the nature of selflessness and emptiness of inherent existence, and do not appear as true. But from the aspect of appearance to those with ignorance, when that wisdom appears to them, it is merely that it dawns as appearing true to that other individual. The Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning also says: "The wise see phenomena as impermanent, deceptive, accumulating, empty, selfless, and completely isolated." "Without a place, without an object, without a root, and without a dwelling, it arises entirely from the cause of ignorance, abandoning the beginning, middle, and end." "Like a plantain tree, without essence, like a city of গন্ধর্ব (Gandharva), a city of delusion, unbearable, beings appear like illusions." It is said that not only do the noble ones who have accomplished all deeds see it that way, but the teacher also realizes it that way in reliance on his own knowledge. Therefore, seeing as in the first verse is the way of seeing of the noble ones who have accomplished all deeds. The wisdom of knowing as it is and knowing all that exists is not different in essence, so it is not contradictory to say that one wisdom of the Buddha pervades all objects of knowledge. Just as the wisdom Dharmakaya and the Rupakaya are the same in essence, but they do not necessarily depend on each other, so are these two wisdoms. Third, if the ultimate truth is extensively divided, there are sixteen emptinesses.

If divided into small and medium, there are four types of emptiness: the emptiness of entities and non-entities, and the emptiness of self and other. If summarized, they are included in the two: the selflessness of persons and the selflessness of phenomena. In other treatises, it is said that there are two types of ultimate truth: the ultimate truth that corresponds to reality and the ultimate truth itself. In the Two Truths, it says: 'The negation of arising and so on, because it accords with reality, I consider it to be the ultimate truth.' And in the Light on the Middle Way, it also says: 'Thus, this non-arising is also called the ultimate truth because it accords with the ultimate truth, but it is not actually so. Actually, the ultimate truth is beyond all elaboration.' It is said. Here, elaboration is not just the elaboration that is the object of negation as a reason, but also the elaboration of appearance. The way to transcend it is to say that in the face of directly seeing Suchness, all the elaboration of dualistic appearance disappears, not that there is no elaboration of appearance. Otherwise, the two elaborations of the nature of phenomena and the phenomena cannot be separated, and the ultimate truth would not be possible. Therefore, the Dharma of the aggregates and the selflessness of persons, merely cutting off the elaboration that is the object of negation as a reason, is the meaning attained by the stainless wisdom of knowing reality. And in the face of that wisdom, the elaboration of the dualistic appearance of persons and aggregates is also pacified, so it is the ultimate truth. However, the emptiness of non-affirmation, which is the negation of arising and so on of the ultimate truth on the aggregates and persons, must appear on the conventional valid cognitions, such as names and consciousness, on which the basis of emptiness appears manifestly. Therefore, in the face of the mind that directly sees itself, it appears with dualistic appearance, but it does not appear without dualistic appearance, so it is the conventional nature of the ultimate truth imputed. In the Auto-commentary on the Two Truths, it also says: 'Just as the appearance of real arising and so on does not appear when objects appear, so it is a false conventional truth. Similarly, the negation of real arising and so on also does not appear to the mind in which the object of negation appears, so will it become a false conventional truth?' In response, it is said: 'Because it is not different from the nature of the object, it is not non-appearance.' That is to say, the mere cutting off of the elaboration that is the object of negation as a reason does not actually appear to the consciousness of the eye and so on, but it is not so. Non-affirmative negation appears to the object on which the basis of negation appears.
