Now, with the determination to liberate all these sentient beings who suffer from various kinds of suffering due to the three types of suffering, and to place them in the state of perfect Buddhahood, for that purpose, one must first generate a firm vow, which is the aspiration of Bodhicitta, desiring to attain unsurpassed Bodhi. Moreover, seeing that this vow cannot be fulfilled if one abandons the practice of the six perfections of a Bodhisattva, one must properly receive the entering Bodhicitta according to the ritual, and take on the great burden of learning the conduct of the sons of the Buddhas. Furthermore, taking the practice of learning the six perfections as the core of practice, one sees that the main practice is the Middle Way that abandons the two extremes. As mentioned before, just as it is determined by the reasoning of the noble scriptures, one seeks a pure view that thoroughly decides the nature of reality. Once found, one thinks that if there is no union of calm abiding and insight, a view that only realizes suchness cannot destroy afflictions, so one seeks calm abiding and strives to cultivate the pure view. Therefore, what is determined here by view must be practiced in this way. These stages are what is explained in the extensive treatise on the stages of the path to enlightenment. Not only in the Paramita Vehicle, but also in the stages of the path of the Vajra Vehicle, one must seek the view in this way in order to find the meaning of reality. Because there is no difference between the two Great Vehicles in the meaning of suchness. The examination of views, called the Thirty Verses, is the commentary on the twenty-seventh chapter. Third, the prostration in remembrance of the kindness of the one who teaches in this way is: I prostrate to the unsurpassed teacher who is the one who teaches. Then, what Dharma is taught? It is the Dharma of the noble and excellent ones, and because it can bring an end to all the sufferings of samsara, it is worthy of praise and is excellent. Or because it is good, it is excellent. The Dharma does not fall into the precipice of viewing samsara and nirvana as things to be abandoned and attained, because it holds on to them.

It is explained from the point of view of the sound of 'dha' in Dharma (དྷརྨཱ་, धर्म, dharma, meaning "that which holds"). The sacred Dharma is free from the eight extremes of arising and ceasing of dependent origination, permanence and annihilation, coming and going, and oneness and otherness; it is the pacification and quiescence of elaboration. The motivation for teaching this Dharma is not the desire for gain and honor, or to reciprocate kindness, but solely based on great compassion, holding dear all suffering beings. For what purpose? Because the view of clinging to the characteristics of the two selves is seen as the source of all faults, in order to abandon all views of clinging to characteristics. What is the name of the teacher? Because he was born into the Shakya clan, he is called Gautama. Although this verse is from the twenty-seventh chapter of the treatise, it is a separate explanation from the twenty-seventh chapter because it is paying homage, considering all the previously explained Dharma, the meaning of dependent origination, and the meaning of no self-nature, as the kindness of the teacher's teachings. From the Madhyamakāvatāra: "Because all things arise dependently, these thoughts cannot be established. Therefore, this reasoning of dependent origination cuts through all nets of wrong views." It is said, and in the Prasannapadā it is also said: The dependent origination, which is free from the eight extremes, mentioned in the context of praise, should also be applied here. The reasoning of dependent origination, which arises from causes and conditions, prevents the eight extremes and all wrong views, which is shown at both the beginning and the end of the treatise. Since the entire body of the treatise also explains this, one should strive for the reasoning of dependent origination, the king of reasonings, in order to expand the view of the essential meaning of the profound Madhyamaka in one's own and others' minds. The third, the meaning of the conclusion, is: The meaning of the verses of the root of the Middle Way, called "Wisdom," has been explained. "Mahayana," as explained earlier, refers to the meaning of extensively teaching the absence of self in all phenomena. The Abhidharma-samuccaya belongs to that collection. "Truly showing the ultimate truth" indicates that it is based on the Abhidharma of ultimate truth. The Prajñāpāramitā refers to the Hundred Thousand Verse Prajñāpāramitā, etc., and its
