Because giving and other methods act as its co-factor, wisdom obtains that fruit. If it is said that giving and others are beneficial, so they are for the sake of wisdom, then it is the same if it is said conversely that wisdom is for them. Therefore, if there is no wisdom that realizes emptiness, it cannot exhaust the seeds of the two obscurations. Merely exhausting the seeds of the afflictive obscuration does not require being adorned with infinite accumulations, but exhausting the seeds of the obscuration of knowledge does require it, and here also it is mainly for the sake of exhausting the obscuration of knowledge, so these limbs are spoken for the sake of wisdom. Considering the clinging to truth as the afflictive obscuration is the view of the school of Nāgārjuna, and this teacher also does so. In the Sutra of the Excellent Law, it says: If the mind is placed equally, one will know for oneself how it is in reality. These are also quoted in the Compendium of Trainings, saying: Equanimity, correctly as it is, will be known, said the Buddha. Therefore, the stated equanimity is calm abiding, and knowing as it is in reality is insight, so the perfection of meditative concentration spoken of from the eighth chapter becomes a limb of the cause of the perfection of wisdom taught here. Second, there is the distinction of the two truths, and the proof that even those who only want to attain liberation must realize emptiness, and the detailed explanation of the reasoning for proving emptiness. First, there is the main text, and the refutation of the debate that emptiness is unnecessary and ineffective. First, there is the distinction of the two truths, the definition, and the identification of the person who establishes it. First, in the Compendium of Trainings, quoting the Sutra of the Meeting of Father and Son, it says: Thus, the Tathagata has understood the two, conventional and ultimate. What should be known is also exhausted in the conventional and ultimate truths. That is, the Bhagavan thoroughly sees, thoroughly knows, and fully manifests emptiness, therefore he is called omniscient. Among them, "what should be known is also" indicates the basis for classifying objects of knowledge, "exhausted in this" indicates the determination of the number as two truths, and because the Tathagata has understood the two truths, he is shown to be omniscient. Therefore, the ultimate truth is not an object of knowledge, and any

To explain the meaning of "Entering the Bodhisattva's Way of Life" to those who have not understood it is a wrong explanation. To distinguish between conventional truth and ultimate truth is the nature of distinction. Although there are many differences in the meaning of distinction, here both have essence. Because for these two, it is impossible to exist in any situation that is neither the essence of the two nor different entities. Moreover, if all phenomena arise from true emptiness as different entities, they will become truly established, and so on. The sutras and commentaries have explained these faults. Even if they are not different entities, the faults mentioned therein will arise, so like what is made and impermanent, the essence is the same but the reverse is different. Therefore, it should be known that what is said here is the basis of distinction. After distinguishing, there are two truths, and it is believed that their number is fixed. The nature of distinction is: the meaning obtained by the measure of convention is conventional truth; the meaning obtained by the measure of ultimate truth is ultimate truth, these two. Second, it should be understood through refuting the views of others and establishing one's own views. First, some people take the first sentence as the proposition and the second sentence as the reason, which is unreasonable in any case. Because if one does not admit that the knowable that can purify defilements through direct perception, then it is impossible to purify defilements, so it will become a denial of the Buddha and sentient beings, becoming a slander. If one admits it, it contradicts not admitting that ultimate truth is the object and the wisdom that realizes it. If it is conventional truth, if one does not admit that ultimate truth can be measured, then ultimate truth itself cannot measure itself, because there is no measurer, so it will become completely non-existent. If it does not exist, then what is the need to distinguish between the two truths? Furthermore, if conventional truth is empty, then admitting emptiness itself is ultimate truth, which has no fault. If it is not so, then conventional truth will become truly established. As the "Madhyamakavatara" says: "If selflessness is refuted, then self-existence is established." Therefore. Second, the first sentence shows the characteristics of ultimate truth, and the second sentence shows the characteristics of conventional truth. Both the former and latter are wisdom with appearance, not just wisdom itself, which is also from the perspective of measurement. Therefore, it should be combined like this: the characteristic of the emptiness of self-nature of person and aggregates
