Your eyes are like nectar, like the cloudless autumn sky, adorned with a multitude of stars. The Sage (Shakyamuni Buddha) with a golden body, adorned with robes, is beautiful, like the peak of a golden mountain, encircled by clouds. Protector, even without ornaments, the radiance of your face is full, like the full moon, even without clouds, it is not like that. Your lotus face, and the lotus that blooms in the sun, if a bee sees it, it will hesitate to enter the hanging thread of doubt as to whether it is a lotus. Your golden face, with white teeth, is beautiful, like the autumn moonlight falling in the golden mountains. Venerable one, your right hand, adorned with the mark of the wheel, gives breath to those who are afraid of samsara. When the Sage (Shakyamuni Buddha) departed, his two feet were like glorious lotuses, drawn on this earth, how beautiful are those with lotuses! As it is said, remember it. Secondly, no matter how many different questions are asked by all the sentient beings in the world at the same time, you can grasp them with the wisdom of one moment of mind, and answer all the questions with one voice, and they can all understand them in their own language, which is very wonderful. As it is said in the chapter of Truthful One: Thus all sentient beings understand, Many questions are asked at once, In one moment of mind, You understand, And answer each with one voice. Therefore, the guide in the world, Know that the sound of Brahma proclaims the Dharma, That is the end of the suffering of gods and humans, The wheel of Dharma is turned exceedingly. Think in this way. The third has two: the merit of wisdom, the merit of compassion. The first is that all that is to be known, how it is and how much it is, is known without hindrance, like an amala fruit in the palm of the hand. All that is to be known is pervaded by the wisdom of the Sage (Shakyamuni Buddha), but others have vast knowledge and small wisdom, so they are not pervaded. As it is said in Praiseworthy Praise: Only you

Due to wisdom, all that is knowable is pervaded, and for all others besides you, only the knowable remains. Thus it is said. O Blessed One, the Dharma that is always included, all kinds of arising places, like an Emblic myrobalan in the palm of your hand, becomes the object of your mind's activity. The Dharma's movement and non-movement, in one and many separate places, like the winds moving in the sky, your mind has no obstruction. Think as it is said. Secondly, just as sentient beings are bound by afflictions and have no freedom, the Able One is also bound by great compassion and has no freedom. When he sees sentient beings suffering, great compassion arises without interruption. The Hundred and Fifty Verses say: All these sentient beings are bound by afflictions without distinction. You are bound by compassion for a long time in order to liberate sentient beings from their afflictions. Should I first prostrate to you? Or to the one who, in samsara, knows the faults and stays for such a long time, the great compassionate one? Thus it is said. It is also said in the chapter of the Truthful One: The darkness of ignorance, the darkness of darkness, constantly obscures the minds of all beings, and when he sees them drowning in the prison of samsara, that righteous one generates compassion. Remember as it is said. Fourthly, the activities of body, speech, and mind are spontaneously accomplished and constantly uninterrupted, benefiting all sentient beings. Moreover, if from the perspective of those to be tamed, they are worthy of being tamed, then the Able One has never failed to provide those to be tamed with perfection, nor has he failed to rescue them from decline. Therefore, it is said that all that should be done will surely be accomplished. Potowa said: If you think about it again and again, your faith will increase, your mind will become purer, and blessings will arise. After gaining certainty about this, take refuge from the bottom of your heart, and just by learning from his teachings, everything you do will turn into the Dharma of becoming a Buddha. We don't even consider the wisdom of the Buddha to be as sharp as the sharpest divination. If the sharpest diviner says, "You have no obstacles this year, I know," then you will live comfortably. If he says, "There will be great obstacles this year, don't do this or that," then you will strive to accomplish it. If it is not accomplished, then you will think, "He said I would not accomplish it," and feel uneasy.

Yes, do you trust the Buddha's teachings that "doing this and this will accomplish this and this"? If it is not accomplished, will you feel unhappy? Some say that although the Dharma says so, it is not feasible to do so now due to time and space, and this must be done. This is like abandoning the Buddha's words and pursuing one's own cognition. Without investigation, believing easily just because it is pleasing to the ear is not just a verbal delusion. If you turn back and examine it carefully in your heart, you will find it very absurd. Therefore, repeatedly contemplate the virtues of the Buddha and strive to generate certainty from the bottom of your heart. If certainty arises, then the same certainty will arise for the Dharma that the Buddha realized and the Sangha who practice this Dharma, so taking refuge becomes meaningful. Otherwise, let alone other paths, even taking refuge is difficult to be convincing. Second, with respect for the Buddha as the reason, one should remember that the Buddha is one who has infinite virtues, and he has realized and practiced the Truth of the Path, which is the nature of abandoning faults and accomplishing virtues. This is for correctly remembering the Dharma. Third, the main ones are the noble beings, and one should also remember the virtues of the Dharma, and remember them through practicing them properly. This is also for correctly remembering the Dharma. Second, just as it arises from the collection, one must understand the differences between the Three Jewels and then take refuge. Third, the way to take refuge is: the Buddha is the guide of refuge, Nirvana is the real refuge, and the Sangha is the companion of practice. As stated in the Extensive Commentary on the Vinaya. Fourth, one must understand the superiority and inferiority of the teachers, teachings, and followers of the inner and outer paths, and only take refuge in the Three Jewels, and not take refuge in teachers, etc. who are contrary to the Three Jewels. The difference between these two is that the difference between the teachers is: the Buddha has no faults and is perfect in virtue, while other teachers are the opposite. As stated in the Excellent Praise: "I abandon other teachers and take refuge in you, the Bhagavan. Why? Because you have no faults and have virtues." And, the tenets of other non-Buddhists.
