Oh! The act of alms is eating and drinking, etc. Among the five actions performed in the monastery, the physical action is: walking in the promenade, or going to a place that is in accordance with the Dharma, or walking on the road for the sake of the Dharma, and going to the promenade, sitting in front of the Khenpo, Acharya, Lama and similar people who are in accordance with the Dharma, and sitting cross-legged on the throne, etc. The action of speech is: receiving the transmission of the twelve scriptures that have not been received, and making them understood, and reciting the transmissions that have been received, and showing them to others, and talking with others for the purpose of increasing diligence. The action of mind is: sleeping in the middle of the night, and going to a quiet place, thinking about the meaning of what has been heard, and entering into samadhi with nine minds, and not speaking and striving for vipassana (insight), and when tired in hot weather, wanting to dispel the drowsiness of sleep at inappropriate times. The two actions of day and night are: not sleeping in the upper and lower halves of the day and night, which indicates the actions of body and speech. Saying "sleeping" also only indicates the action of night and the action of mind. To maintain mindfulness in these ten actions is: if you start to do things like walking or acting, first you must keep mindfulness of that action and act cautiously. Being grasped by these two, you must observe in any way, and in what way you should observe, you must think and understand in that way. There are also four ways: The first is: for the ten bases such as the action of the body, in what way to observe what, you must think about that base in that way. For example: for the action of walking and returning, you should know as it is said from taming the behavior of walking and coming, and at that time think about what you are doing now. The second is: in which direction to observe what in what way, you must think about that direction in that way. For example: when walking, you should know not to go to the five places such as selling alcohol, but to go to other places, and keep mindfulness at that time. The third is: at what time to observe what in what way, you should think in that way at that time. For example:
