Gradually make it finer and finer, and maintain focus. The method of maintaining focus is not to maintain focus as if it were from this side to that side, but to let the mind enter the nāda (नाद, nāda, sound), and maintain focus as if it has become inseparable from it, so it should be done that way. The way to maintain focus is that if the tension of the mind is too high, excitement will arise and it will not be able to abide; if the tension is relaxed, although abiding will arise, subtle dullness cannot be prevented, so it is very difficult to gather the winds. Through experience, it is known that if you tighten to this extent, excitement will definitely arise, so do not tighten to that extent, but tighten awareness from below that and keep it. No matter what you do, if you don't want the object of focus to be unclear, as many reliable sources say, first generate a competent generation stage samādhi, and then enter the completion stage, so there is no problem of unclear object of focus. If you go beyond that stage and enter as you do now, such a thing will also happen, so for that, hold the mind in the way of holding it in the central channel (dūti) in the center of the chakra. When you have found the abiding of the mind, then learn to make the object of focus appear clearly, and hold the mind on the nāda (नाद, nāda, sound). Moreover, this should be done in a way that relaxes the body's behavior, and do not make the body's tension too great. For this, the method of cutting off dullness and excitement, and the stages of generating mind abiding from cultivating in this way, are the same as what is said from other places, so it should be understood from the detailed explanation in the common path stages of the two vehicles. Third, by cultivating in this way, even if the mind is separated from subtle excitement, a very strong non-conceptualization will arise, and because subtle dullness is prevented, a clear awareness with vigor will arise, and the body and mind will have great experiences of bliss, but such things are common to this Dharma and other Dharmas, and to both the Great and Small Vehicles, and to the upper and lower tantras and the two stages, so here we need a completion stage, a non-common way of generating samādhi that hits the key points of the body. Moreover, by meditating as before, special experiences and signs of gathering the life force into the central channel (dūti) must arise. Moreover, by setting the goal in this way and meditating, for the very clear object of focus mentioned earlier, in between each session, the mind abides very stably, free from subtle dullness and excitement.

Until a stable and lasting practice is achieved, it is extremely difficult for life to enter the central channel. Once such a practice arises, it must be cultivated. Here, one "session" is one-sixth of a day. The stability of a lasting practice means that, in the absence of other sudden adverse conditions such as physical discomfort, one can maintain a certain "session" free from agitation and dullness. Also, if one has not previously cultivated the focus on the essential points of the body, and has only cultivated non-conceptual mind, achieving a stable state and a significant reduction in clarity, it seems that the previous focus cannot be satisfied with a lasting practice. Therefore, for the previously mentioned focus on the essential points of the body, one needs a lasting practice through prolonged cultivation. The way to introduce the winds into the Dhuti channel through such a practice is explained in many reliable sources such as the Compendium of Principles, the Samputa, the Oral Instructions, and the Shavari Empowerment. This can be understood from the detailed explanation in the "Elaboration of the Completion Stage - The Ear of Accomplishments." Also, in Lui-pa's "Commentary on the Sadhana - Special Clarification," it says: "Or, for the seed syllable Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) located within the union of the sun and moon in the navel lotus, from the radiating veins like the root of a lotus arising from it, by focusing the mind, in the two channels, abandoning the flow of life, completely entering the central channel, from the blazing of inner heat, the moon at the crown melts, and by the distinctions of joy and so on, spreading through the chakras, innate joy arises, thereby abandoning all conceptual thoughts." Thus, by knowing the key point of holding the mind in the Dhuti channel through the key point of the mind following the wind, if one cultivates, the condition of the life-wind flowing in the left and right channels will reverse and enter the central channel. Relying on it, the inner heat in the central channel blazes, and the white bodhicitta of the syllable Ham (藏文:ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) at the crown melts, and from that path, it gradually descends to the center of the four chakras, thereby generating the four joys. Or, this is when explaining the meaning of the words of the Completion Stage scripture recorded in the Sadhana, first visualizing the Wisdom Hero and Heroine in the navel chakra, and when performing the absorption sequence, as it is said to visualize the syllable Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), or from the beginning, as previously mentioned, the meaning is to visualize the syllable Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) in the navel chakra, and that is Ye.
