Emphasis (Tson no). Secondly, from the "Five Stages": "The mind with sound and bindu, should be placed in the heart." As it is said, from the straight center of the two breasts directly upwards, inside the spine, the central channel is tied with a single rope knot. Inside the central channel, in the middle of the union of red and white bindus, visualize the white Hum syllable (ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,seed syllable) with Nada (ནཱ་ད་,梵文天城体:नाद,梵文罗马拟音:nāda,sound) and a crescent moon on top, the size of a mustard seed, and focus on its dripping. The object of focus should be held within the central channel. The small size and the dripping are also mentioned in the "Union Tantra," which says: "The hero dwells within it, as thick or thin as a mustard seed. The indestructible Hum seed, drips like two snowflakes." Therefore, it is said. If the mind is focused on a very subtle object, the wind will easily scatter, so do as before. If you cannot do that, then for a while, focus on a larger object. Then gradually make it smaller and smaller, and hold the mind. The way to hold the mind is not to look at it as if it is on the other side from this side, but to enter into the Hum syllable and become inseparable from it. It is said to hold it in this way. The way to hold the mind is: if the movement of the mind is too great, excitement will arise and it will not be able to stay in place. If it is held too tightly, although it can stay in place, even subtle sinking cannot be cut off, so it is very difficult to gather the wind. If you tighten it this much, excitement will definitely arise, and you should know it from your experience. Do not tighten it that much, but tighten it from below that and stay there. In any case, if the object of focus does not appear clearly, then hold the mind there in the way of holding it in the center of the chakra, that is, inside the central channel itself. Once you find the mind's abode, then learn to make the object of focus appear clearly. Here, the way to rely on mindfulness on the object of focus, and the way to cut off sinking and excitement when they arise, is from the "Distinguishing Middle and Extremes": "Not forgetting the object of focus, knowing sinking and excitement, the act of abandoning them." You should know it as it is said. Thirdly, by practicing in this way, the mind is free from subtle excitement, and a very thick non-conceptualization arises, and even subtle sinking can be cut off, and a clear and bright awareness with the power of wakefulness arises, and great experiences of physical and mental bliss arise. However, such experiences are in this Dharma, and in other Dharmas, both the Great and Small Vehicles, and in the Tantras.

It is common to both above and below, and is common to both stages. Therefore, in the completion stage, it is necessary to exert force on the key points of the body, without confusing the signs of arising uncommon samadhi, and the entry of life force into the central channel, etc. For this, one should practice for a long time the visualization of exerting force on the key points of the body as described earlier, so that between each session, the mind is extremely stable and dwells without subtle agitation and sinking, and only then can it be considered as completing a session. Here, one session refers to one-sixth of a day and night. So, what are the unmistakable signs? After completing a session, identify the moment when the airflow in either of your nostrils has just shifted. Then, by the power of maintaining the body posture and the mind's way of holding as before, it will not be long before the wind runs equally when observing the nostrils. Moreover, it is not necessarily once or twice, but if there are no other obstacles, it will definitely run again and again. Moreover, equal running does not mean that one is strong and the other is weak, but that the strength is the same. If this happens, it can be considered that the power of yoga can place the life force into the central channel, but it does not mean that once it enters, it will not switch between the left and right. This is the entry of life force into the central channel. Abiding in the central channel means that from this point onwards, diligent meditation will gradually weaken the airflow in the nostrils, and eventually, after careful observation, it will be found that the subtle airflow will also stop. The way of stopping is difficult to determine. If the body is upright, without shaking, and comfortably abiding, observe whether the abdomen moves or not. If it moves slightly, it means that it has not stopped. This observation is particularly important for distinguishing whether the appearance and entry of the nostrils below the navel and below the downward-clearing air are taking place. The cessation of subtle airflow in the nostrils has two situations: difficult and easy. If it is difficult to stop, the abdomen will be filled with gas for a moment, and then it will calm down. After calming down, a special warmth will arise from the location of the fire in the navel and genitals. Then gradually guide the melting bliss, as the Samputa Tantra says: "Driven by the wind of karma, it blazes in the center of the navel wheel, knowing the time of spring." And as the Oral Instruction says: "The vow-striving bow-shape moves, the triangular fire at the three-way intersection, melts the elements and rains sixteen."
