O you all. Because understanding is not easy. It is said that there is one vehicle and three vehicles. Protect yourself with equanimity. With equanimity, it will not become sin. With hatred, it will become sin, it will not become virtue. Thus it is said. How should the inconceivable be remembered? In this great secret, I, an ordinary being, am not the realm, because of what? Because I do not know the Dharma-nature of all dharmas, that is, how their state is. The perfect Buddhas and the sons of the Buddhas, that is, those who have attained the ground, know, one should think like that. Also from the Bodhisattva-bhumi: When a Bodhisattva hears of profound and extremely profound places, if his mind does not believe, then the Bodhisattva, with faith and unwavering, thinks like this: I am like a blind man, without eyes. I only follow the eyes of the Tathagata. Abandoning what the Tathagata has thought and said is not my part, I should truly learn like this. Thus, the Bodhisattva considers himself to be unknowing, and the Tathagata truly sees those dharmas without concealment. In that case, it is truly entering. Thus it is said. Whether it is what the Tathagata has thought and said or not, in any case, there is a supreme method of not clinging to the obscuration of abandoning the Dharma. However, the obscuration of abandoning the Dharma is extremely subtle. It is said that it is difficult to understand, and there are many such situations, so one should recognize abandoning the Dharma well and strive not to be tainted by it. The reason for the inconceivable is: Whether the Buddhas have appeared or not, in any case, the Dharma-nature is abiding, having abandoned increase and decrease, so it is inconceivable. Here, if the Dharma-nature is understood as the way things are, then it cannot be a reason for not abandoning the profound scriptures that show suchness. Furthermore, the Dharma-nature abides without arising or ceasing, and it cannot be a reason for not abandoning the teachings of the Dharma-nature. Therefore, both the teachings of suchness and suchness should be taken as reasons for not abandoning. That is to say, in the scriptures it is said that this arises from this, and this does not arise from this, and this is like this or not like this, and so on. From that, increase
