The union of luminosity and, and the combination of those two is said to be Yuganaddha, and, the distinctions of conventional and ultimate, having known them separately, wherever they are completely mingled, that is said to be Yuganaddha. Thus, the two, conventional and ultimate, are Yuganaddha, and the mingling of those two is what is said to be Yuganaddha. Here, before obtaining the luminosity of meaning, when there is the illusory body accomplished from the five, wind, light, and rays, there is no luminosity of mind having become one with the ultimate truth. Before obtaining Yuganaddha, when there is the luminosity of the mind of bliss having become one with the ultimate, there is no conventionality of the body having become an illusory body, because it is alternating, therefore there is no Yuganaddha. When the words "body self-blessing" mean that the conventional illusory body has reached its limit, and the words "mind luminosity" mean that the ultimate truth has reached its limit, when the two gather at the same time on one continuum, because there is no alternation but they gather together, therefore Yuganaddha is obtained. Although it is necessary for those two to gather at the same time when such a Yuganaddha is obtained primarily and initially, there are also other ways of establishing Yuganaddha. It is not necessary to establish as Yuganaddha by that way of establishing for whoever has obtained Yuganaddha. The Sanskrit word for Yuganaddha is Yuganaddha, Yuga is pair, Naddha is non-dual, that is, the two gather at the same time without alternating, which is the Yuganaddha previously explained. This is obtained when rising from the last appearance of the reverse order and entering into luminosity again. Having abandoned the dualistic thoughts of the two dharmas such as samsara and nirvana, the non-dual Yuganaddha that cannot be separated by thought, the many five stages spoken of in this way, are established as Yuganaddha by a different way of establishing than the former. If those thoughts are understood to be pacified in the face of directly realizing the meaning of suchness, then it has already been obtained from the time of the luminosity of the fourth stage, therefore it is unreasonable to say that this Yuganaddha must be accomplished by relying on what has been obtained before that. If it is understood as completely abandoning all thoughts, then it cannot be obtained until the non-learning Yuganaddha is obtained, therefore it is not suitable for the learning Yuganaddha. Therefore, all the thoughts that focus on persons and dharmas and cling to them as true,

The non-dual wisdom that abandons defilements is the union here. So, since the fourth stage of this union, the meaning of clear light, is immediately achieved from the initial manifestation, how does a single moment of the meaning of clear light acquire the power to destroy all innate afflictions? The reason why the wisdom of the meaning of clear light arises with such a powerful ability to dispel obscurations is due to the power of practicing the illusory body and the conduct at that time, and meditating extensively on the exemplary clear light. Moreover, it is not abandoned at the time of the fourth stage, but it is established that innate afflictions are abandoned at the time of first obtaining the learning union. When such clear light manifests, it can remain in equipoise for a long time, not just for a moment. Before that, the exemplary clear light can also remain for a long time, so what need is there to mention the meaning of clear light? The Oral Instructions also say: "Desire, free from desire, without object, the wisdom deity manifests in that instant. Eight hours, one day, or one month, one year, one eon, or a thousand eons, experience that innate wisdom." It is said that the duration of meditating on innate wisdom corresponds to the order of the greatness of beings' abilities. Therefore, the Condensed Five Stages also says: "Having obtained the state of clear light, one transcends samsara. One moment or one day, one month, half a month, one year, one eon or a thousand eons, abiding in each moment, the yoga of wisdom always arises." What is said is also well said. The meaning of the four emptinesses becoming one in the Condensed Conduct has already been explained. The meaning from "assembly of appearances" to "having appeared" is: The light rays of the body formed from the wind-mind of clear light fill the world, just as the sun illuminates the expanse of the sky. The fifteenth chapter of the Lamp Clarification also says: As previously explained, at dawn, after the meaning of clear light has manifested, when explaining the accomplishment of union, the tantra says that light illuminates an area of about a hundred yojanas, which is only symbolic, and light in the three thousand worlds, etc.
