So. Some Tibetan lamas, according to the old tradition, explain the Father Tantra, which begins with "Thus have I heard," and the Mother Tantra, which begins with "Secret Supreme Bliss," according to the Nigropas. The Hevajra Tantra is said to be earlier than the Root Tantra and later than the Explanatory Tantra, the Vajramrita. The Samputa Tantra says that both are present, so it is a non-dual tantra. The distinction between the three tantras is made by the difference in the expressive words. In the Chakrasamvara Tantra, it is later in the Root Tantra, and in the Explanatory Tantra, the Abhisamayalankara, etc., it is said, "Thus have I heard." Considering that both are mentioned in the Abhisamayalankara, then the Chakrasamvara Tantra would also become a non-dual tantra. If that is the case, then the criticism of what the Mother Tantra is, etc., will arise. They say that their own tradition is that the vast method and the profound wisdom each show both, but the main thing is the importance of the main and the secondary. They also think that this contradicts the two tantras and the non-dual tantra, but it does not seem to examine what the non-dual method and wisdom and the two tantras' method and wisdom are like. Other Tibetan scholars divide the Anuttarayoga Tantra into three separate tantras: the Method and Wisdom Tantra and the Non-Dual Tantra, which they say is provisional; and they say that all Anuttarayoga Tantras are Non-Dual Tantras, which is definitive. The way to establish the separate Method and Wisdom Tantras is to show one of the two or neither of the two, so they want to establish it as a Non-Dual Tantra. If that is the case, even though it is considered definitive that both the Method and Wisdom Tantras of Anuttarayoga are Non-Dual Tantras, it would be contradictory to make the establishment of the three tantras into three different ways, and to cling to a particular tantra that one is particularly fond of as the definition of the Non-Dual Tantra. If one's own tradition does not accept the Father and Mother Tantras, then it will be harmed by contradicting one's own promises and scriptures. If one accepts them, then if those two are not Non-Dual Tantras, it contradicts the idea that those two are Non-Dual Tantras as definitive. If they are, then it would contradict making the establishment of the three tantras into three different ways. Most people think that there is no higher tantra than the Father and Mother Tantras.

Thinking that it has become like that. For the part to which one is most attached in one's own continuum, one diligently cultivates it into a non-dual tantra, and from there one separately establishes two tantras. The second part has two: the way of establishing the non-dual tantra of skillful means and wisdom, and the meaning of indicating the individual tantras of skillful means and wisdom. The first part has two: the actual meaning, and the removal of doubts. The first part is: the skillful means and wisdom in the so-called non-dual tantra of skillful means and wisdom, and the skillful means and wisdom in the individual tantras of skillful means and wisdom, these two skillful means and wisdom, because the same name of "skillful means and wisdom" appears, therefore, also because of confusing the meaning as the same, it is thought that the tantra of the equal union of the two skillful means and wisdom, which is dominated by one skillful means and wisdom, and the tantra of skillful means and wisdom that emphasizes one side are contradictory. Because of holding it in this way, it seems that in the unsurpassed tantra, it is divided into three different tantras, so these two should be distinguished. Among them, the meaning of yoga of both Anuttarayoga Mother and Anuttarayoga Father is not that skillful means and wisdom emphasize one side, but as it is said in the sutra, skillful means and wisdom are equally combined, in which skillful means is the great bliss of co-emergence, and wisdom is the wisdom that realizes the selflessness and emptiness of suchness, as it is said in many sutras, and it is also widely known. If the nature of the two skillful means and wisdom of such bliss and emptiness is combined without distinction as the main thing, then all the unsurpassed tantras are the same in that they take such a meaning to be expressed as the most supreme. Therefore, the way of abiding of the nature of all unsurpassed tantras is abiding in the non-dual tantra itself. Therefore, it is not established as a tantra that emphasizes one side of skillful means and wisdom by dominating those two skillful means and wisdom. Therefore, the non-dual tantra cannot be regarded as a part of the division that is the basis for distinguishing between Father Tantra and Mother Tantra. Just as it is said in the Vimalaprabha, in nature, everything is the nature of wisdom and skillful means, it is the yoga tantra itself. Similarly, it is also said in the Hevajra, "The letter he is great compassion, Vajra is said to be wisdom, the tantra of the nature of wisdom and skillful means, that is what I say, listen attentively." Therefore, Hevajra will not become the tantra of wisdom, because it says to listen attentively to the tantra of wisdom.
