In short, there are five things that the earth has spoken of directly. From the Five Successive Stages, both the Four Questions of the Goddess and the Prophecy of Intent and the Vajra Garland are said to be explanatory tantras. In the Compendium of Practices, the Wisdom Vajra Collected from All Sources is also said to be an explanatory tantra. In the Lamp Illuminating Commentary, when explaining the first two letters of the introduction, the source of the questions of the King of Gods is explicitly mentioned. Then, when explaining the rest of it, it says 'from the explanatory tantra,' which seems to be the same as what was said before. Therefore, the questions of the King of Gods are said to be in the explanatory tantra, and this has not changed. The Father and Sons (Vimalamitra and his disciples) say that the eighteenth chapter is the later tantra, but apart from that, it is not explicitly said to be an explanatory tantra. However, Tagana and Gyalwa consider the explanation of the root tantra to be an explanatory tantra, so it should also be considered an explanatory tantra. Some say that the Vajra Heart Ornament Tantra is said to be very clearly an explanatory tantra in the Compendium of Practices. But in both the new and old translations of the Compendium of Practices, there is a saying that 'the way it is said in the explanatory tantra, and in sequence, one should practice the extremely simple behavior with the conduct of a madman,' which seems to have been considered. But in the old translation of the Compendium of Practices, it says, 'The extremely simple behavior, the conduct of a madman, should also be explained according to the sequence said in the explanatory sutra.' Then, many phrases such as 'When one is firmly non-conceptual' are quoted, which come from the sixteenth chapter of that tantra. Its meaning is that the conduct of behavior is explained in that chapter, and it is also said to be the conduct of a madman, so saying 'explanation' means 'explaining the conduct of a madman,' and it does not mean explaining it in the explanatory tantra of the Guhyasamaja. Some also say that the Illusion Net Tantra is also an explanatory tantra, but both this tantra and the previous one are tantras of the same category as the Guhyasamaja, and are not explanatory tantras. The Four Questions of the Goddess is said to be the later tantra of one hundred thousand verses called 'The Supreme of All Secrets' in its commentary. The Vajra Garland Tantra has one of twelve thousand verses, and two short tantras. The Wisdom Vajra Collected from All Sources also has two tantras, large and small, which is what the commentary on the Vajra Garland says. In the previously quoted scripture, it is said that the Vajra Garland has three hundred thousand verses.

If explained by the 'Elucidation of Intention,' then beyond the twelfth chapter of the Root Tantra, there will be no further changes in the explanatory tantras. The third part has two points: first, how the 'Later Tantra' and 'Elucidation of Intention' explain; second, how the three, such as the 'Vajra Garland,' explain. The first point is: other explanatory tantras of the Guhyasamaja, although they are its explanatory tantras, are not the Guhyasamaja Tantra; while the 'Later Tantra' is both. This tantra, in the way it explains the Root Tantra, explains the common meaning of the tantras, which is the meaning of the name of the glorious Guhyasamaja Yoga Tantra, as well as the classification of the Upaya Tantras, and the questions and answers on the general summary of the tantras; the rest are questions and answers on the meaning of each of the seventeen chapters. Regarding the question of the connection of the tantras, the connection is the perfection of the fact that what is said connects all the meanings of the tantra closely, which Naropa considers to be the meaning of auspiciousness. As an answer to this question, the sixteen chapters from the second to the seventeenth each show one of the four limbs of approach and accomplishment. Naropa says that the first chapter briefly explains the meaning of the tantra, the remaining sixteen chapters explain the four limbs of approach and accomplishment, and the eighteenth chapter shows the secret instructions of all of these. These tantras, without separating the two stages, show the common four limbs of approach and accomplishment of the two stages. In the classification of the Upaya Tantras, the four limbs of approach and accomplishment of the two stages are separated. The explanatory tantras each have a way of explaining the Root Tantra through one way of exerting their unique strengths. This 'Later Tantra' explains the Root Tantra through the four limbs of approach and accomplishment mentioned in the twelfth chapter of the Root Tantra. In the meaning of connection, since the sixteen chapters explain the four limbs of approach and accomplishment in the auspicious questions and answers, the questions and answers of each chapter are included there. The question and answer of the classification of the Upaya Tantras is the question and answer of the meaning of the name itself, and the general summary is also included in the question and answer of the meaning of the name. Therefore, if the text of the Root Tantra is mainly used to explain the text of the name of the tantra, it will produce a very wonderful effect. In this tantra, each set of four chapters shows each of the limbs of approach and accomplishment, and this is how it proceeds.
