Here, there is no need to establish it as union. The Sanskrit word for union is Yuganaddha, where Yuga (藏文,梵文天城體:योग,梵文羅馬擬音:yoga,漢語字面意思:union) means two, and Naddha (藏文,梵文天城體:नन्द,梵文羅馬擬音:nanda,漢語字面意思:joy) means non-dual, that is, two branches gather not as two but simultaneously in a rotating manner, which is the union mentioned earlier. This is attained when, after rising from the last appearance of reversion, one again enters luminosity. Regarding the dualities such as samsara and nirvana, abandoning the conceptualizations that grasp them as truly existent, the union of the great bliss wisdom that is undivided by conceptual thought is extensively taught as the five stages. This is establishing union in a way different from the former. The latter is attained from the first arising of the union of learning. This union is the main subject matter of the tantras, and for the conclusive points that are difficult to realize, it has already been extensively explained in the 'Illuminating Lamp of the Five Stages,' and should be understood from there. From "Those who have heard everything completely" to "The person called Jewel," the first of the five types of individuals who each show their own characteristics is the medium faculty. The second and third are the superior faculty. The fourth is the inferior faculty, and these four are followers of faith. The fifth is the supreme faculty, who are followers of the Dharma, as Lakshmī said. The first four are those whose roots of virtue are not mature and who are inclined towards inferiority, as explained in the 'Illuminating Lamp.' Among them, those like the Utpala (藏文,梵文天城體:उत्पल,梵文羅馬擬音:utpala,漢語字面意思:blue lotus) and the white lotus are suitable as listeners, because even if they forget what they have heard, they leave impressions on the mind, and later fruits will arise. They are not suitable as teachers or practitioners, because they forget what they have heard, so there is nothing to teach or practice at the moment. Those like the lotus and sandalwood are suitable as listeners and practitioners, but not suitable as teachers, because they lack the qualities of speech and cannot be understood by others. Those like jewels are suitable as teachers, and they themselves are also suitable as listeners and practitioners, as the former assemblies said. The inability to follow refers to the way in which others cannot receive the Dharma from them. Those like the Utpala (藏文,梵文天城體:उत्पल,梵文羅馬擬音:utpala,漢語字面意思:blue lotus) and the lotus, when listening, cannot retain the words and meanings of the Dharma they have heard from the lama without forgetting them. They cannot retain everything they hear in the Dharma assembly without forgetting it, but practitioners and teachers
