Because they are correctly taught, they are completely pure. If the precepts are not used for teaching, there will be the fault of being too withdrawn, and the fault of being too expansive by following the unestablished precepts. These two antidotes are combined into one. It is clear that it is neither too expansive nor too withdrawn, and the two are combined into one. Yontan 'Od also believes that there are two kinds of faults in thinking, namely, accepting wrongly at the time of acceptance, and being too withdrawn and too expansive at the time of guarding, so these two are combined into one. Sumudra believes that not losing the precepts received seems to be a summary of the ten mentioned above. All of these are unreasonable, because the teacher himself In the position of the Hearer, negligence and laziness completely occupy, so in the case of the ten opposite faults of the ten purities, these two are combined into one, so combining non-negligence and non-laziness into one is the intention of the scripture. In this way, accepting wrongly from the beginning, as well as being too withdrawn and too expansive, as well as being completely occupied by negligence and laziness, as well as being occupied by evil wishes and the decline of rituals, as well as being occupied by the decline of life, as well as falling into both sides and not being renunciation, and accepting correctly completely declining, that is, being separated from the ten causes that lead to decline, so it is called perfect or completely pure discipline. Fourth, there are two benefits of discipline, the ultimate benefit is: In this way, the aggregate of the Bodhisattva's discipline is the cause of producing the fruit of great Bodhi, relying on it, the Paramita of discipline is completely perfected, thereby attaining unsurpassed Bodhi. The "aggregate" refers to the vast and boundless accumulation of merit, or it refers to the vast, immeasurable, and complete discipline. Before becoming a Buddha, one can also obtain five temporary benefits, just as mentioned before, one will be remembered by the Buddhas, abide in great joy In the midst of dying, after the body is destroyed, one will also be reborn in the place where the Bodhisattvas who have the same or more excellent precepts as oneself, and the virtuous friends who have the same roots and are in accordance with the Dharma reside, and, in this life, the Para of discipline

Thus, one will possess immeasurable accumulations of merit that enable the fulfillment of everything, and in future lives, one will also attain the very nature of self-arisen discipline. The second meaning of this is that in future lives, one will remember encountering Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and therefore, one will transcend the fear of death and attain great joy, as explained in the Jināvatāra-sūtra and others. Samudra says that because one possesses an unbroken connection with this and with the roots of virtue, there is no fear of bad rebirths, and this is explained as the second benefit. These five are also explained in the Commentary on Qualities of Light as the result of effort, the result of separation, the result of maturation, the result of influence, and the result of similarity. Being explained as the result of separation is understood as being separated from unpleasantness through suppressing misdeeds and making good aspirations. Among these, the first benefit is the benefit that can be obtained in both this life and the next, that is, for as long as the vows remain, the Victorious Ones and their retinues will regard one as they would a son or a brother, and therefore, virtuous Dharma will not decline but will increase. The second and fourth are the benefits of this life, death

One should be endowed with vigor. Fifth, the gathering of ethics is: the nature of ethics and so on, all of those nine should be understood as being gathered by the three, such as the ethics of vows. Jinasutra and Samudra said that each of the nine is also gathered by the three ethics. Sixth, the function of ethics is: why is it determined as three ethics? Thus, the activities of a Bodhisattva are summarized into only three, namely, the mind abiding in the happiness free from all afflictions, and based on that, maturing one's own Dharma, and maturing the continuum of sentient beings, and these three are also accomplished by the three ethics of the Pratimoksha vows, gathering virtuous Dharmas, and benefiting sentient beings. Thus, if one does not strive for the Pratimoksha vows that turn away from misdeeds, and does not abide in the virtuous object that can use the mind for virtuous objects, then the foundation of the other two ethics will be lost. Therefore, as the previously quoted scripture said, one should first cherish the Pratimoksha vows, which has been said in the seven Pratimokshas. A Bodhisattva should strive for the Pratimoksha vows that he has taken, which is the root of the teachings. This is also emphatically stated by the Protector Nagarjuna. As it is said in the Ratnavali: Then the ordained one, initially should be extremely respectful to learning, Pratimoksha and Vinaya, should strive to listen to many meanings. As it is said, the two great chariots seem to have the same intention on this meaning. The other two ethics should also first strive for the gathering of virtuous Dharmas that matures oneself, because it is unreasonable to mature others without maturing oneself, and the sutras say that there is no such situation. The ethics of a Bodhisattva are these nine or three, and the benefits of ethics are these six, and the function of ethics is to abide in tranquility for the sake of happiness in this life, and to mature the Buddha's Dharma and to mature sentient beings without physical and mental fatigue. There is nothing higher than these three: nature, benefit, and function, and there is nothing more than these three, that is, nothing that is not included in these three. To that,
