He said, "Pull it," and as he was pulling it himself, he dreamed that all the land and mountains were moving bit by bit. Furthermore, some similar dream omens occurred. After that, the master said that even those who practice phonetics are not allowed to sing without offering the torma. Once, I asked, "What is the reason for this?" The master said, "In general, Yama Dharma Raja appears in many different forms. In particular, he takes the form of anyone who is constantly serving him at his side, and goes back and forth inside the bedroom, does many things in front of you, asks for instructions by whispering in your ear, and constantly speaks many words. Many people who live in the bedroom also see him, and they are confused by the form he transforms into, so that others do not recognize him. 277 From yesterday on, every time you sing, he appears in that way and talks to himself. It is necessary to offer the torma. If the torma is offered, when the sound of singing is made, he makes various happy expressions." These are what I have said, having taken only a drop of water from the great ocean of this great being's inexhaustible and unfathomable qualities of realization. Needless to say, the entirety of it. It is impossible for all of us to fully comprehend these details. This great being has the power to speak of immeasurable scriptures and qualities of realization, but not only does he not have the slightest bit of pride and arrogance, but let alone the great qualities of realization, even the small ones are not revealed and concealed outwardly. To proclaim oneself in a way that reveals oneself in the face of wealth, respect, and fame, etc., has not only been abandoned far away in dreams since countless eons ago, but it also seems very difficult to grant even the earnest requests of those who strive to believe in and practice him. It is only in the course of various idle chats that he seizes the opportunity and speaks without concealment.

Why transform? If there is no special need to benefit others, etc., and one is only intent on proclaiming one's own perfection, it is because one sees that this is not the conduct of a holy being. Even so, I have long prayed to the precious lord with intense, unwavering faith, and especially, even if I could comprehend a small part of the qualities of realization of this great being, and with that as the reason, I would strive to cultivate faith in the virtuous friend of the supreme vehicle; I also pray that in all my lifetimes, I may live on the nectar of the well-spoken words of that holy being, and practice it as a daily yoga, constantly thinking in this way. Then, I first offered a mandala with golden flowers, and then prayed, and the venerable lama, endowed with impartial great compassion, looked upon me with great love, and gladly bestowed upon me some instructions. Many virtuous friends who have unwavering faith in the venerable lord, who hold the scriptures and tantras, and who are rich in scriptural and realized qualities, have repeatedly and earnestly exhorted and urged me with intense desire, and I have been burdened by the heavy weight of their exhortations. So, I prayed again to the venerable lama, and received the permission to write it down on my head. In order to benefit those who are fortunate, I have recorded the wonderful qualities of realization of the venerable lama in the form of an extremely secret feast of words. Whatever faults there may be in this, I confess them all before the venerable lama, who is endowed with impartial great compassion, and I pray that you will accept them with great love, and bless me so that I will not be obscured. Those who have firm faith and connection with this great being should not use this text as a topic for idle talk at gatherings, but should instead strive to increase their faith through the extremely secret play of words. Thus, I, the supreme treasure of compassion who gathers all the victors and their retinues into one, the incomparable eye of beings, Tsongkhapa, from his vast ocean of qualities, wonde
