Most of the famous people gathered here. He extensively taught and listened to both Sutra and Tantra teachings. Moreover, during his strict retreat, he met with elders such as Gungru Geshe and told them: It seems that we, the master and disciples, are encountering some obstacles. In order to eliminate these obstacles, I will leave here for a few months. When asked where he was going, he said: This time there is an important matter that cannot be spoken of. Then, the three masters and disciples went to Ra rang brag at night without anyone noticing. When he was in strict retreat, Manjushri spoke about the key points of the Madhyamaka and Cittamatra schools. Then, he said: Now write down a summary of these points. Therefore, he composed the "Distinguishing the Provisional and Definitive Meanings." In it, it says: The one who pleases all the Buddhas, Manjushri who gathers all wisdom, with strong and continuous faith, respectfully relies on the center of the lotus in the heart. Therefore, that wise person who can see the scriptures, composed this wonderful discourse. It is said that this is how it was. At that time, because the reputation of Je Rinpoche spread throughout the three realms, the Ming emperor sent messengers with edicts and various gifts with great urgency, and Da Xin Brebo also repeatedly invited him with golden letters, but he did not accept the invitation. This time, they said they would offer tribute, so they passed through Phan-yul from here and arrived at Sera Choding at dawn, pretending to meet with the master. Due to their sudden arrival, many monks had to break their retreat, and since the Dharma King was not present, they had to ask people like Nyewo-ba to act as witnesses to handle affairs. At that time, if you didn't tell the truth, it would become a lie, but if you told the truth, you would be concerned that the master and disciples would be distracted. So, the reason why he didn't say where he was going is also here. Therefore, it is said that this great Bodhisattva's wisdom has no obstacles and has reached the other shore of skillful means. After that, due to the prophecy of the Yidam, and in order to promote the precious teachings, and for various other reasons, he intended to hold the Great Prayer Festival. At that time, Je Rinpoche received a lot of gold offerings, and Nyewo-ba also provided support.

Based on the foundation of conditions. Drepung and others provided material assistance, and many devout and wealthy individuals from the three regions of Dotö, Ü-Tsang, and Kham made abundant offerings. Relying on these, the Sangha within the snowy mountains were gathered together. Before the representative of the Lord of the Teachings, Shakyamuni, like an ocean of aspirations, from the first day to the thirtieth day of the Month of Miracles (Tibetan New Year), offerings of butter lamps, tormas, and other various offerings were made. The assembly of monks upholding vows and holding the three baskets of scripture was said to be greater than anything that had ever occurred in the land of snow. At that time, the representative of the Teacher, Shakya Senge, wished to manifest in the form of the Sambhogakaya. It is said that when Atisha went to Amdo (parts of modern Qinghai and Gansu) and then to India, he left the headdress there as a token of faith. In order to ensure that the subsequent production of the headdress matched the original, and also considering many other important points related to auspicious connections, a gilded crown was offered. Although this was an unsurpassed method for benefiting the teachings and sentient beings, some ignorant people unanimously said that it was inappropriate, saying that it was turning a Nirmanakaya into a Sambhogakaya, which was foolish talk from those who did not even know what a Sambhogakaya was. Others said that the head and hat were nailed together with iron nails. Whether this is true or not, even the blind people of Lhasa would know if you asked them. Shortly thereafter, Drog Riwoché (mountain name) Gaden Nampar Gyalwai Ling Monastery (the main monastery of the Gelug school) was established. The Buddhist teachings of the three baskets of scripture and the three precious trainings were set on a path of light. Even during times of decline, one could see as many Sugatas as there are stars in the sky. Countless teachings and instructions were received. In particular, Manjushri, Maitreya, Avalokiteshvara, Tara, the Thirty-Five Buddhas of Confession, and others constantly appeared, and many teachings were heard. Regarding the manner of seeing the Thirty-Five Buddhas, there was also a desire to copy the murals there, but since there was no clear record of their hand gestures in all the pure sutras and treatises, when wondering what to do, the Buddhas appeared in the sky, and the different colors and hand gestures of the Buddhas were seen. Afterwards, they were faithfully painted in the spacious main hall of Gaden Monastery and the assembly hall of the Sangha, and offered.
