Stopping virtuous activities such as not meditating and teaching the Dharma, letting hair grow longer than necessary, changing clothes, collecting the banners of the monastery, and so on, these village customs are widely known. However, we have long abandoned those village customs in accordance with the wishes of your Holiness. Because we contemplate on the characteristics of all conditioned phenomena, we become weary, so we strive greatly again in the activities of the two wheels of Dharma, and we have engaged in the endeavor to continuously accomplish your Holiness's complete wishes. Then, as soon as the accomplishment offering was completed, the esteemed Dharma Rinchen Rinpoche ascended the Dharma throne of the great master and arrived at the sleeping quarters, remaining there for a long time as the supreme ornament of all followers. In order to ensure that the pure conduct of your Holiness is never interrupted, all the elders, headed by the esteemed Grakpa Gyaltsen Rinpoche, unanimously prayed and enthroned him as the successor to the great Dharma kingship. Previously, the great silver statue of the Bhagavan Vairochana, which your Holiness had instructed to be made, has also been completed and consecrated in accordance with the Dharma. Some people discuss what the intention was in building this statue, but in reality, the main intention of your Holiness in building the extraordinary mandalas of Chakrasamvara, Guhyasamaja, and Vajradhatu was to revive the teachings and practice of the great Anuttarayoga Tantras, which had declined, and to create the auspicious conditions for this. Now, if even a slight tradition of explanation for the Action Tantra Vairochana Abhisambodhi is not established, then one of the four classes of tantra will almost completely disappear, so it is necessary to create such an auspicious connection. I believe that this is what your Holiness intended, I think so. Then, arising from the samadhi of the Dharmakaya, there was a discussion about how to cremate the remains and how to keep them intact.

Considering that if (he) did not give up his practice and continued to live, it would be of great benefit to the continuation of the Dharma. Therefore, (they) resolved to request (him) not to give up his practice and continue to live. Each person offered about eighteen large bags of silver with sincere faith, and a huge stupa was built. It was decorated with various precious ornaments. (His) remains were wrapped in coarse cloth, placed in a box made entirely of sandalwood, and placed in the vase of the stupa. After that, the patrons and disciples, led by Nedong and Drigung, offered thousands and thousands of relics. In addition, they also encouraged donations of copper from various places. Relying on these copper donations, the two Rinpoche masters were responsible for guiding the construction. A huge golden statue was built as the inner support, which was an elbow taller than the Jowo Rinpoche's height. It was very exquisite and amazing. In order to house the remains and the inner support, a very large and exquisite temple was newly built. In the year of the Rat, everything, including the consecration, was completely completed. Moreover, when (his) remains were brought to the new temple, the sky was filled with rainbows, and flower rain filled the sky. In addition, in October of the year of the Rat, in Ganden, hundreds and thousands of Vajra masters practiced countless mandalas. During the offering period, when offerings were made for many consecutive days, flower rain fell on the first and last days. The small flowers that fell were like pearls, with six petals and stems. On the twenty-fifth day, such small flowers accumulated on the ground like snow. In addition, some of the six-petaled flowers were the color of conch shells, some were like pure gold, some were like red lead, and some were like being painted with fine indigo blue. Countless flowers, as big as the palm of an adult's hand, fell. At that time, at the residence of Gon Namkha Sangpo and his nephews, in Laga Drak (cave name), many monks, initially presided over by Dharma Lord Shakya Yeshe, were invited, and a grand Kalachakra offering was held. After praying, flowers also fell.
