In the city of radiant splendor, the gods descended, and in the sky above the palace of Indrabuti, the Buddha and his retinue appeared and vanished, displaying miraculous feats. Ultimately, it is the Buddha, the Dharma, the Sangha, the nature of scriptures and texts. If that were the case, it would fall into the category of Bon religion. Therefore, the activities of the Buddha and the manner in which the teachings descend are inconceivable, and should be remembered. Then, the fifth king, Namri Songtsen, whose prince possessed auspicious names such as Amitabha on the crown of his head. Because he was skilled in craftsmanship, art, and knowledge, and was broad-minded, the ministers, based on his own qualities, honored him with the name Songtsen Gampo, the Dharma King. During his reign, in order to establish the tradition of the sacred Dharma, he sent Tonmi Anu's son and his entourage to India. They studied writing and grammar with the Pandit Lharikpe Senge and the Brahmin Li Jin, and eventually mastered them. By adding and subtracting from the fifty letters of India, he created thirty Tibetan letters. He made eight treatises on grammar that corresponded to the eight great treatises on grammar in the sacred land, and translated the Sutra Collection Cloud. Because the lifeblood of the teachings is writing, it became an immeasurable kindness. After that, the king also learned to write and translated the Ornament of the Basket, and so on. He also taught the six-syllable mantra, Yamantaka, Dharma protectors, and many other teachings. He had people trained in the places of yoga practice, and as a result, many accomplished ones emerged. To counter the geomantic threat of Tibet being in the form of a supine ogress, he built temples to subdue the borders, re-subdue the borders, and suppress the frontiers. With boundless means and miraculous displays, he invited the two Jowo Shakyamuni statues and Avalokiteśvara. He built the Lhasa Trulpa Temple, including the statues and their supports. He reformed the religion with sixteen pure human laws. He invited scholars from India, Nepal, and China. Tonmi acted as a translator and translated some of the sacred Dharma, making Tibet a white land in the darkness. Thereafter, in the time of the fifth king, the venerable Wheel of Steadfastness was a human illusion.

The incarnation game, the divine king Trisong Detsen, arrived. When he was young, a minister named Ma Xiang disliked Buddhism, so he transported the Lhasa Jowo (Shakyamuni Buddha statue) to Kyirong. The monastery was turned into a slaughterhouse. The king was very devoted to Buddhism, but for a while he was controlled by unruly foreign forces, just as when an elephant tries to enter a great river, its tusks seem to sink into the embrace of the water. However, with the strength of his own power, he reached a state of happiness unharmed. With his aspiration and prayers, the power of the indelible vow manifested. The wisdom of the great Buddhist minister Go appeared like a swindler deceiving sinners, and Ma Xiang was buried alive in Stodlung. As predicted by the Hwashang master, he sent someone to invite Abbot Shantarakshita of Ba Selnang. He arrived safely and met him in the Ombui garden of Samye. The Abbot said, "We prayed at the Cha-rung Khashor Stupa in Nepal for the teachings of Od-srung. Have you forgotten your wish to promote the holy Dharma in Tibet?" The king replied, "Because I meditated for a short time, I didn't know." Then, the Abbot blessed him and made him recall his past lives. He told the king about the ten virtues and the eighteen realms, which angered the Tibetan gods and demons. Lightning struck Marpo Ri, the Phangthang Palace was washed away by floods, and there were severe crop failures and disasters. The evil ministers said, "This is because we practice Buddhism. The Acharya should be sent back to his country." The king offered the Abbot a lot of gold and told the story. He said, "The non-humans of Tibet don't like it. I will go to Nepal, and the master Padmasambhava of Oddiyana is the greatest person in Jambudvipa. I will also send someone to invite him. You, the king, should also do the same." So he sent messengers one after another. Later, he sent Nanam Dorje Dudjom and others, who traveled at great speed. The master knew about this and briefly stayed in Mangyu Gungtang and met him. He threw the gold given as a gift towards Ngari, saying, "My vision contains gold." Later, he created the auspicious connection for the appearance of gold wish-fulfilling jewels in Tibet. The mountains of Daba in Mangyu were exchanged with each other, the sun and moon fell on the plains, and the rivers flowed upstream.
