All are false, deceptive, concealing. Concealing, meaningless, empty. Because it obscures the true and correct meaning, it is called false. Truth is true because it appears as true in the mistaken consciousness. Therefore, the knowledge of ordinary people depends on permanence and annihilation, so it is conventional truth. But the noble ones are the opposite of that, it is ultimate truth. Therefore, scholars who hope to eliminate addition and subtraction through hearing and thinking, if they analyze the two truths like analyzing a bull's horn in the way that "conventional truth exists, ultimate truth does not exist," and observe emptiness by analyzing the aggregates, it is only a kind of recollection. As it is said in the Nirvana Sutra: "When I used to explain the Prajnaparamita Sutra, the emptiness I spoke of refers to the absence of self-nature. You should understand this. Otherwise, if you meditate on the emptiness of nothingness, the body and wisdom of the Buddha will not arise. Because the result follows the cause." Therefore, the freedom from elaboration of the perfectly established nature is beyond mind and attention. If one has an object that is the opposite of this, then the one with consciousness cannot touch the inconceivable wisdom of the Victorious Mother (Prajnaparamita). Why? Because sharp mental speculation may be able to become a direct indication of individual common sense, but it is only the cause of generating the power of the wisdom of the noble ones. In fact, even individual common sense itself has not been established, and this must be understood. The chapter of Kashyapa says: "Kashyapa, for example, two pieces of wood are rubbed by the wind, and fire arises from them. After the fire arises, it burns the two pieces of wood. Similarly, Kashyapa, if there is correct individual speculation, the power of the wisdom of the noble ones will arise. When it arises, it will also burn the correct individual speculation." Therefore, when the teachings of the result were complete and the teachings of the scriptures were extremely prosperous, relying on the four great reasonings of Madhyamaka such as the Vajra Splinter, many people with excellent wisdom were liberated by hearing and thinking alone, without relying on the wisdom of meditation. But now the time for practice has also passed. Therefore, the Bhagavan said: "The ultimate truth can only be realized through faith." In particular, regarding the path of means, Saraha said: "If you shoot an arrow, then for those who only have the sky in their minds, there will never be liberation."
