Value the results of actions and strive for virtue. Recite the confession scripture a hundred thousand times and scatter salt a hundred thousand times. Redeem life a hundred times and recite the Mani (藏文:མ་ནི་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:) a million times. Strive to proclaim the Eight Thousand Verses and the Bhadrakalpa Sutra. Kathok Chaktsa's (藏文地名) incarnation, Rangjung Dorje (藏文人名). I prostrate to Padmasambhava. Bu Nyön (藏文人名) and Jigme Losal (藏文人名), you have obtained the body of leisure and endowment, and have abandoned the lack of freedom due to sudden events and circumstances. At this time of the gathering of auspicious conditions for practicing Dharma, now strive to practice in solitude. Going to the monastery to study as a child, you learned the rules of conduct and reading and writing. Dances, music, painting, etc., although they are only decorations for the monastery, in the midst of a gathering of many people, the winds of attachment and aversion prevail, and the eight worldly concerns arise. You surpass me, I am better than you, accumulating wealth that should be consumed. Therefore, inscribe these good and bad qualities in your own mind. Now go to a solitary place. There is no hustle and bustle of buying and selling, farming, work, and spending. Away from the attachment and aversion of you surpassing me, it is happy to be with birds and animals. The changes of the four seasons in the land of medicine constantly remind oneself of impermanence. In such a solitary place, from the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment to the death of the clear light Dharmakaya, these are oral instructions passed down. Especially for those with initial karma, remember the four thoughts that turn the mind. The root of Dharma is Bodhicitta, its essence is aspiration and action. Action is the practice of the six perfections, which is the path of the Buddhas. If you do not understand such key points of the path, then like tigers, bears, monkeys, etc., although they also live in the forest, you are the same as them. Therefore, in the midst of a good aspiration, be in a humble position and destroy arrogance. The habit of generosity is generosity. Respectfully guarding the precepts is morality. Accepting difficulties and enduring the harm of others. Abandoning laziness and drowsiness is diligence. Practicing the two stages is meditation. Insight is mastering wisdom. Always protect the meaning of remembered words. Without mindfulness, what is there to talk about meditation? Even the happiness of higher realms will decline, let alone the pursuit of definite goodness? Therefore, distinguish the difference between mind and wisdom, like a lion fully displaying its power, away from the realm of thought and discrimination, directly looking out into the vast expanse of space, do not meditate.

Now, do not be distracted. Do not make self-interest your reliance. Town rituals, torma offerings, zor offerings, And the empty talk of other assembly leaders, Are signs of the blessings of demons. For the sharp power of definite understanding, Obstacles and wrong paths find no opportunity. When fame and gain arise, people should Observe whether their minds are tormented by desire. When the assembly of disciples gathers, the master should Observe whether their minds are mixed with the Dharma. When one's own desires are completely exhausted, Benefiting beings becomes appropriate. At that time, if one indulges in sadness and peace, That is a great downfall. In short, with the sacred vow of Bodhicitta, The subsequent attainment of benefiting others For the sake of being used in connection with things, The sacred meaning of the union of the two truths, May it abide in your mind, May it become one taste with my heart. This is Jigme Lingpa's instruction to Jigme Losal Ozer. Listen, Jigme Choden. Always stay in solitude. Cultivate compassion and the mind of benefiting others. Be meticulous with the law of karma. Meditate on the uncertainty of when you will die. Between the arising of past and future thoughts, Looking at clear awareness, That is the initial way of training. Now, with mindfulness, As soon as awareness arrives, Regarding emptiness and non-emptiness, And clear, naked awareness, Abandon attachment to meditation. Just remembering that moment, Without distraction, without fabrication, is profound. Whatever arises from that, Do not interrupt the arising of transference. Look at the mind of the one who arises, Relax in your own place. This is the key point of meditation. This is the sprout of the Victorious Ones. Bairotsana respected Gyalrongpa (referring to people from the Gyalrong region). Always remembering death, Think well about where you will go in the next life. By practicing the abandonment and adoption of karma and its results, Go to the happy realms, Through realizing the view of emptiness, Attain Buddhahood. It is not enough to just meditate on emptiness, In the natural state of the union of clarity and emptiness, From the guard of unforgetting mindfulness, It is not meditation, but non-distraction. Non-distraction, non-fabrication, is the meaning of meditation. If you become accustomed to this, the afflictive obscurations and The cognitive obscurations will naturally be purified. For that purpose, accumulate merit and Purify obscurations, strive in all situations. In short, there is no oral instruction more important than The oral instructions, pierce them to your heart. This is the instruction to Gyalrongpa Sonam Tashi. Homage to Parṇaśabarī. If you want to taste a little, By the kindness of the Lama and the Three Jewels, Abandon past bad deeds.
