Great! Thus it is said. Furthermore, regarding whether or not mere mindfulness can serve as the basis for meditation, the Omniscient One said: 'For beginners, let conceptual thoughts wander; for subsequent learners, do not let the nature of reality wander. Through habituation, mindfulness, appearance, and wisdom should not wander. When in the expanse, there is no wandering eye or wanderer. In the end, when stability is achieved, the place of wandering is definitely the nature of reality. When phenomena are exhausted, it transcends the realm of expression. Please accomplish such severance.' The great distinction of mindfulness like this, even realizing this single key point, is very rare in Ator. Therefore, now it is necessary to stabilize mindfulness with mindfulness, and this is the mindfulness of conceptual thought. The non-mixing of divine appearance and the nature of reality is the experience of seeing stability now. The mixing of deity, appearance, and the nature of reality is the state of the ripening awareness holder, so it is difficult for it to arise quickly in just a few months, so abandon discouragement. However, on the path, as long as mindfulness does not become forgetful in the state of clear divine appearance, there is no need to meditate according to the emptiness approach. The one who makes the divine appearance clear is himself the reality. The reason why it is easy to forget is that the power of insight is weak now. To this, sometimes increase the clear appearance of the deity. When it is not clear, combine pride and awareness. Sometimes, focus on pure mindfulness, etc., and strive to find ways to avoid fatigue. If it is very difficult to be clear, then place mindfulness manifestly on a painted image. When the imprints of that are strengthened, as long as you do not forget that luminous body, and it does not become completely scattered, then the one who makes it luminous is himself mindfulness or the nature of mind, so there is no need to separately prove emptiness. In the end, the result of perfecting the two accumulations will naturally arise as an illusory body, please understand. This was offered to the supreme reincarnation of Chagzam. Very good! Regarding the aspects of meditation you asked about. To become accustomed to the clear and stainless awareness, distinguishing between shamatha and vipashyana is also conceptual meditation. In the sutra tradition, the reason for dividing shamatha and vipashyana into many categories is that it is difficult for children to believe in the stainless dharmadhatu, so in order to guide them, the non-dual wisdom is established as the alaya, and only the characteristics of reality are distinguished separately, this is just a point of view. And most of those who read, hear, and think, in terms of essence, without experiencing the way of abiding as it is through the lineage, conceptualize in terms of words.

The wisdom that cannot be exhausted by diminution with added embellishments, and the way in which the wisdom of speculation contradicts it. In the Sutra of Repaying Kindness, it is extensively stated: Abiding in meaning, not abiding after the letters; abiding in wisdom, not abiding after the consciousness. The actual meditation that is not mixed with mind, in which the six aggregates each abide in the empty realm of their own place, is: the nature of reality is clear and without object of focus; the essence is emptiness and not nihilistic; it is free from all commitments to view and practice; the nature is not stained by habitual tendencies and ordinary non-indication; it is free from the clinging to objects or the augmentation that includes certainty of belief. This is the samadhi of the union of calm and insight. As it says in the profound Sutras of the Great Vehicle: 'Whoever has a firm mind, that is meditation; whatever is the cause of the exhaustion of defilements, that is wisdom; whatever is free from all entanglements of the mind, that is meditation; whatever completely destroys habitual tendencies, that is wisdom.' And so on. Other-emptiness is mainly a term of the Jonangpas, and the reasoning that considers the thought of the Three Turnings of the Wheel of Dharma to be the Middle Way of their own system. There is no establishing subject or object, all designations are false. Furthermore, the basis of pure and excellent wisdom, the alaya-consciousness, is empty of all samsaric phenomena. Therefore, other-emptiness is permanent, stable, and enduring, and is the essence of the perfectly accomplished Tathagatagarbha, the ultimate truth. The impure samsaric alaya-consciousness is self-empty, so even if the basis is not established, if analyzed, it seems that the proof of other-emptiness is arranged because of the reason of non-existence. According to our own system, the Prajnaparamita Sutra speaks of the sixteen emptinesses, such as outer emptiness and inner emptiness. First, outer emptiness shows that the perceived object, appearance, is without inherent existence. Inner emptiness shows that the perceiving consciousness is without inherent existence. The emptiness of the nature of non-things means that the one who clings to inner emptiness and other-emptiness, or the essence, is also beyond expression and beyond the realm of knowable objects. Although one sees the refutations and establishments of the middle and later turnings of the wheel and many letters, one is not corrupted by the good realization of non-conceptualization, and one is not corrupted by ordinary non-indication. What is to be meditated upon, the three stages of meditation, the Jonang and Sakya schools, sound and measure, result.
