In the garland of activities for the Tsok, the head of the mala is adorned with the seeds of body, speech, and mind, of white, red, and blue colors (208). It is said that one should examine it with appropriate wisdom, and that the head of the mala should be made according to each individual's needs. Generally, it is said that the back represents the three vajras in three layers. The top layer, to symbolize the mind, the unchanging wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, is blue. The middle layer, to symbolize the speech vajra, is red. The bottom layer, to symbolize the body vajra, should be white. If combined with Suchness, the top layer, the essence is the Dharmakaya emptiness, the middle layer, the self-nature is the clear Sambhogakaya, the bottom layer, the compassion pervades the Nirmanakaya, which is the symbolic meaning of the inseparability of the three bodies. In the New Tantras, to symbolize the two-fold purity, it is said that the head of the mala should be made in two layers. In the Sambuti Tantra, it says: For the stupa, the lord of Dharma, above is also the Dharmadhatu. In the commentary, it says: That is, the bottom symbolizes wisdom, the top symbolizes the Dharmadhatu, or the bottom symbolizes the Rupakaya, the top symbolizes the Dharmakaya. Thus it is said. Fifth, to bless it, it says here: At the beginning of counting on the mala, cleanse, purify, bless, and consecrate. And in the Manjushri Root Tantra, it says: The rivers are immaculate, bathe with pure water, then take the mala, bathe it with the five products of the cow, then apply fragrance, and with great effort recite the mantra, touch it closely and begin to recite. In the explanation of the meaning, Rigdzin Chokyi Drakpa says: First, wash your hands and face with clean water, then use the vajra to bathe the mala with the five products of the cow, and apply fine fragrance, as it is said. It says here: With the pride of being the deity, place the mala in the left hand, with the head of the mala on top, purify it into emptiness with the Svabhava(藏文:སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:svabhāva,汉语字面意思:自性) mantra, from the state of emptiness, the mala itself, the head of the mala is the main Yidam, (209) the mala surrounds in the form of the retinue, invite and absorb the wisdom beings, as it is said, for the sake of the first practitioner, I will explain it like this: In the left hand, the mala is coiled like a coiled snake, with the head of the mala in the middle like a bird's nest, as it is said here, first bless the hand.

Instructions, which are oral teachings. Visualize the sun on the palm of your right hand, marked with the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽); and the moon on the palm of your left hand, marked with the syllable A (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿). Recite and contemplate this. Then, with divine pride, purify the concept of holding the mala as ordinary with Oṃ Svabhāva Śuddho, etc. From emptiness, on a lotus, sun, and moon, in an instant, complete recollection, the main deity holding the mala, surrounded by the retinue wheel. From the three seed syllables at the three places, radiate light, invite the wisdom being of the same form, and merge them inseparably with Jaḥ Hūṃ Vaṃ Hoḥ (藏文:ཛཧཱུཾ་བཾ་ཧོས་,梵文罗马拟音:jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ,汉语字面意思:扎 吽 榜 霍). The seven vajra qualities are spontaneously accomplished. The Sugatas, Bodhisattvas, and their retinue of sons and daughters, from the beginning, appear as the essence of the mala. With the certainty of understanding what is as it is, by the union of the skillful means and wisdom fingers, just by reciting the heart mantra, all siddhis of pacifying, increasing, subjugating, and destroying are accomplished without hindrance, becoming endowed with power and strength. Recite this, and at the end of the root mantra, recite as much as possible the essence of dependent origination and the Ādīkali mantra, consecrate the flowers with mantra and scatter them. In particular, recite this mantra, which is taught in our own tradition, one hundred and eight times. The special feature of focusing on all beings is to visualize that those deities to be accomplished appear in the form of those syllables, with colors corresponding to their karma, falling like rain from the sky and dissolving into the mala. Then, when not combining with (210), first recite the three syllables one hundred and eight times, and then recite the Ali Kali, the essence of dependent origination, and the twenty-one mantras for blessing the mala, etc., and then engage in whatever recitation is to be done. All these are combined in accordance with the unerring intention of the scriptures. It is said that if done properly in this way, whatever mantra is recited on that mala will increase a hundred thousand times. Furthermore, it is said in this very text, "It is good to repeat the consecration from time to time." As it is said, repeating the blessing from time to time is also a key instruction. Seventh, the method of counting: In the scriptures, it says: "When reciting the mantras of pacification, count on top of the index finger; likewise, for increase, on top of the middle finger; for subjugation, on the ring finger; for destruction, count on top of the little finger; all are done with the left hand, do not count with the right hand."
