Upon that, rolling the phurba makes it pitch black, memory is lost, the doors of sensation close, the habitual imprints of afflictions are completely severed, transforming into the nature of the three kayas, and contemplating that it is inseparable from the three (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllables at the tip of the phurba is the intent of the bath-initiation. The third is, as stated in the tantra: Thereafter, the three enemies, life, and poisons, whose essence is the three (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllables residing, are propelled by the three side (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Devanagari: फट, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Phat) syllables, touching the heart of Akanishta's glory. The (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllable itself dissolves into light, the A dissolves into Ā and Ā dissolves, the crown chakra (Tibetan: ཨོཾཱ, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om) dissolves into (Tibetan: ཨོཾཱ, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om) and (Tibetan: ཨོཾཱ, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om) dissolves into light, the spinal column descends through the horse path into the mother's womb, making one a son of the Victorious Ones is the profound transference of consciousness, the bath-initiation. As previously explained, having done so secretly, with the tip of the phurba pointing towards the sky, urge it on with three strong (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Devanagari: फट, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Phat) sounds. (317) The essence of his consciousness, at the base is the three poisons of affliction, at the result, it transforms into the nature of the three kayas, that which abides in the form of three (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllables, is propelled upwards like sparks by the three side (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Devanagari: फट, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Phat) syllables, and in the Akanishta realm, touches the heart of Lord Amitabha, the heart-essence syllable is in the form of (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum). In the All-Liberating Expansive Tantra, it says: Originally, the ultimate ground is the Dharmakaya, the ground of conjunction and condition is the darkness of ignorance. As it is said, from the top of a single gathering, the distinction between whether or not obscurations are abandoned is the division into base and result, this is my wish. And mixed inseparably. Due to this cause, the special wisdom of non-dual bliss and emptiness arises in an instant, and the (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllable, the after-effect of great bliss, also dissolves into light, rising upwards to the throat, and dissolving into the A syllable, the essence of speech. The A itself also dissolves into light, rising upwards to the wheel of the crown chakra at the top of the head, and dissolving into the seed syllable of the body, (Tibetan: ཨོཾཱ, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om). That Om also dissolves into light, descending through the lineage of the Avadhuti, with the progression of the four joys, and descending into the womb of the mother, contemplating that the one being slain is born as a son of the Victorious Ones, this is the special instruction of the offering of union liberation, the union of two stages. That is also what is said in the Mirror Clarifying the Tantric Connections: Transferring consciousness into Dharmata, transferring consciousness into Akanishta, transferring the aggregates into the charnel ground. Such are the ways of transference.
