Pressing down the lower wind, like the external wind. As it is said in the root tantra: 'Having understood the signs of death, one should firmly place the life in the bindu.' (By pressing the upper wind down, the lower wind rises, and the middle wind is expelled outwards) Ignite the tummo (inner heat) at the navel, burn the five tathagatas (five Buddhas), burn the eyes etc. (eye faculties etc.), and cause the rabbit-holder (moon) to drip Hum. Closing the mouth, draw back all the exhaled winds from the two nostrils with great force, quickly, and unite them with the stainless, lightning-like descending wind.' As it is said in the oral transmission: 'Being in the wind of bliss, holding it firmly is holding.' etc. The mind is like a violent wind. Second, the merits of mixing the life-wind and the descending-wind: 'When yoga practice is perfected, the sun and moon (left and right channels) become equal in the center of the fire (tummo), eliminating hunger and thirst for food etc. in the body, and bestowing immortality.' As it is said in the oral transmission: 'The Lord of Death etc. cannot prevail, cutting off coming and going, afflictions, demons etc. are destroyed, and one enters the ten powers.' etc. Third, regarding the ritual of unmixed transference of consciousness, there are three points: The actions of body, speech, and mind should be understood from the instructions. As it is said in the oral transmission: 'Place the wind and mind violently in the bindu.' When the wind enters the central channel, it does not get lost, it is placed in the bindu. The four bindus of the body etc., successively or simultaneously, must be placed with wind and mind, making them unmoving. Therefore, through unmoving and stability, the bliss of the formation of the bindu arises. Even if one engages equally with all women, the bindu will not fall. Prophecy, bliss arises, the body becomes stable.' etc. Second, as a branch of accomplishing immortality, by moving the three tongues, one tastes and drinks the essence of the inner nectar, thereby becoming free from disease. Regarding how to drink the nectar through the tongue practice, there are three points: In terms of the body, one should bind the body into a middle-bent posture, opening the mouth, and the teeth should not touch each other. In terms of speech, by constantly drinking the essence of the nectar in the central channel, one places the life-wind in the center of the navel, thereby accomplishing freedom from disease. Having filled with nectar, draw back the external winds and place them in the center of the navel. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

如是说:观想心间梵穴处有白色 bindu(藏文:ཐིག་ལེ,梵文天城体:बिन्दु,梵文罗马拟音:bindu,汉语字面意思:点),由空行母的明点围绕,降下甘露。 《心要光明》中说:‘只要 bindu(藏文:ཐིག་ལེ,梵文天城体:बिन्दु,梵文罗马拟音:bindu,汉语字面意思:点)在体内,有头发般细小的黑色纹路,瑜伽士就能看到光明位。’

It is said: Visualize a white bindu (Tibetan: ཐིག་ལེ, Sanskrit Devanagari: बिन्दु, Sanskrit Romanization: bindu, Chinese literal meaning: dot) at the forehead chakra, surrounded by dakini drops, and let the nectar drip down. Thus it is said. Second, the merit of tasting and drinking the nectar is: it merges into the supreme body, and definitely destroys downfall, hunger, and poisons. Thus it is said. Fourth, regarding signs and measures, there are two parts. The sign is: the life-sustaining wind strikes the navel, causing the fire of caṇḍālī (Tibetan: ཙན་དྷ་ལི, Sanskrit Devanagari: चण्डाली, Sanskrit Romanization: caṇḍālī, Chinese literal meaning: fierce woman) to blaze. No matter how much one eats and drinks, all the residue will not turn into disease, and the essence will not leak. One obtains the bliss of holding the illusory vajra great-bellied bodhicitta without leaking. As a sign, one will definitely see fine black lines on the wheel of time channel. The Essence of Clarity says: 'As long as the bindu (Tibetan: ཐིག་ལེ, Sanskrit Devanagari: बिन्दु, Sanskrit Romanization: bindu, Chinese literal meaning: dot) is inside, there are fine black lines the size of a hair. The yogi sees the state of clear light.' Furthermore, the oral transmission says: 'Longevity, freedom from disease, and balance of elements.' And so on. The measure is similar to life force. The oral transmission says: 'This is also manifested through the mind.' Fifth, regarding the classification of purification: what is to be purified is the aggregate of feeling, etc., as one group of six. The method of purification is (externally) through the path of the perfection of patience, (internally) through the limb of holding. The fruit of purification is the deity of inseparable bliss and emptiness, such as Ratnasambhava, etc., as one group of six is accomplished. 'Also holding the hand of jewels.' Thus it is said. The classification of the method of purification is: through the classification of holding the ten winds in the central channel bindu of the five wheels, there are ten. Sixth, regarding the fruit: through the power of holding, one defeats demons and afflictions, and obtains the ten powers. Through the power of holding, one completely defeats all the hosts of demons and afflictions, etc., and enters the ten powers. Thus it is said. These are called 'approximation' in the oral transmission. Between the two is virtue. Thus it is said. Like life force, through the instruction of regarding holding as knowledge placed in a vase, mixing mind and wind, one meditates on the king of samadhi of inseparable clear emptiness, non-conceptual union. This is the limb of approximation, the vajra yoga of speech, the wind of speech, and the sound accomplishes the sambhogakaya. This guide to virtue in between was written at the request and urging of supreme holy beings (such as Dharma Lord Jamyang Khyentse, etc.) and by a worthy and devoted person (such as the great bodhisattva Kunkhyen, etc.).
