That is, like fire in the forest, a friend of yoga. As it says in the Sambuta: "Covered by the darkness of many discriminations, maddened by extreme destruction, flickering like lightning, stained by the hard-to-resist impurities of attachment and so on, the Vajra-holder of the mind speaks in samsara. The self-nature is clear light, completely liberated from thought." And: "The two parts of its sin and merit are discrimination. Thus, the nature of Dharma is pure, unborn and without abiding." It says in the Vajra Tent: "As the nature of an image, so should one meditate on things. Emptiness is the stainless supreme state, where there is no merit or sin." In the arising of Bliss Supreme, it says: "In the absence of things, where is there acceptance and rejection in all the Dharmas? All Dharmas that should be accepted and rejected are like dreams." In the Two Examinations, it says: "The inexhaustible actions of beings, by what and what are they bound? If one has the means, then by that very means, one will be liberated from the bonds of existence. Attachment binds the world, and desire itself is liberation." The meaning is: Samsara arises from karma, and karma is the good to be accepted and the evil to be abandoned. If one knows the suchness that all of them are merely images of discrimination and are not established by nature, then one will be liberated. Karma also arises from afflictions, and if one knows the nature of afflictions, then it will appear as the wisdom Mahamudra, just as when a forest is burned by fire, the wind becomes an aid. For yogis who know the nature, afflictions will become the companions of wisdom. Second, it is said for the sake of the meaning of equal taste Mahamudra: "Where is there going and staying? What meditation is done by going to a solitary place? If one does not realize that very nature, no matter what one does, it is only temporary and one will not be liberated." As it says in the Guhyasamaja: "The nature of all Dharmas is clear light, primordially pure like the sky, there is no enlightenment and no realization. This is the way to teach enlightenment." In the Two Examinations, it says: "Forms and other objects, and what else the yogi sees, all those things are pure, thus the goer is the nature of the Buddha. Self-knowing is the very nature of purity, purity is not liberated by others." The meaning is: The yogi in whom the reality of Mahamudra has manifested, his going

Then, how can there be a difference between post-meditation and abiding, i.e., samatha and vipassana? Because everything does not go beyond the play of dharmata. Therefore, what is the use of going to a solitary place, i.e., going to a monastery to meditate? If one does not realize the suchness that is unmoved from the wisdom of the Great Seal, where samatha and vipassana are of equal taste, then no other method can only temporarily suppress the afflictions, but cannot eradicate the seeds of samsara from the root, so one will not attain ultimate liberation. Third, the meaning of the non-dual Great Seal is explained: If that is realized, what can bind? From abiding in the nature without distraction, there is no samatha and vipassana, no antidote and no practice. As it is said in the Two Examinations: The stream of the river flows continuously, just as the flame of a lamp is firmly tied, the yogi should always be like this, abiding in it day and night. In the Sambhuta Tantra it is said: Whatever path of sense consciousness, from its own nature, the yogi is not in samatha, but is always in deep samatha. In the Guru Tantra it is said: No mind, no meditation, no mantra, and no deity, arising from Hevajra, this is the teaching of the stages of enlightenment. The meaning is: As said before, if that is realized, one is liberated from the grasped and the grasper, and no object or subject can bind, therefore, abiding in that nature without distraction, there is no samatha and vipassana, no transforming and practicing with antidotes, abiding in the yoga of the continuous stream of wisdom without samatha, is said to be the most supreme of all actions. Thus, with the three: nature self-liberation, essence equal taste, and ultimate non-difference, the action Great Seal is determined to be self-arising and self-liberating. Fourth, the result Great Seal has three. First, the meaning of the appearance and existence self-liberation Great Seal is explained: Nothing is established on this, appearance self-liberation is the dharmadhatu, realization self-liberation is great wisdom, the cause is non-duality equal dharmakaya. As it is said in the Pig Mother Manifestation Tantra: Abiding in the place of no appearance, truly relying on no appearance, for all dharmas without action, there is no dharma and no dharmata, dependent origination is a dharma equal to space, it is unreal and without characteristics. In the Guru Tantra it is said: Unborn
