Like placing butter in butter, one's own self-aware wisdom is, whatever good is seen is the prostration here. Therefore, great bliss is, the unchanging wisdom of one's own mind, the inconceivable reality, remaining in that state is the ultimate prostration. Second, the meaning of the text is fourfold: view, meditation, conduct, and result. First, of the three, first, the meaning of appearance as Mahamudra is explained. Mahamudra, the object to be expressed, is: all phenomena are one's own mind, seeing external objects as real is a delusion, like a dream, empty of substance. As it is said in the Vajra Tent Tantra: "Outside of the precious mind, there is no Buddha and no sentient being, in the place of consciousness, there is nothing external." The Hevajra Tantra says: "Because of ignorance, there is the form of samsara, without ignorance, samsara is pure." And: "In whatever world, one cannot find another Buddha elsewhere, the mind is the perfect Buddha, there is no other Buddha to be shown." And as the Kalachakra says: "Sentient beings are Buddhas, there is no other great Buddha in this world, pleasing them cuts off immeasurable existence, this is because of non-discrimination." The Guhyasamaja Tantra says: "All phenomena are like a dream, unborn in essence, naturally pure, in that is said to be the illusory Vajra." Its meaning is: the meaning of Mahamudra to be expressed is, thus, all phenomena are merely measured by one's own mind, that's all, therefore the reality of external objects, and the deluded mind that sees them, are like the awareness experienced in a dream state, in the ultimate sense, both subject and object are without self-nature, that is, empty of substance. Second, the meaning of awareness as Mahamudra is explained: the mind is also just the flow of memory and awareness, without self-nature, it is the play of wind, its essence is emptiness like the sky, all phenomena abide equally like the sky. As it is said in the Vajra Garland Tantra: "Just as an object burned by fire does not exist, it dissolves and goes without cause, again the wind of life rises, the winds of karma are various, that is together with the co-emergent consciousness, again it abides in the three worlds, from that arises karma and"

Thus it is born. From this arise habits and so on, and from this again, death and birth. Thus, it is like a wheel turning. So it is said. In the Prophecy of Intentions, it says: Sentient beings act through places and so on; here, it depends on that. So it is said. The winds, with subtle forms, after mixing and mingling with consciousness, arise from the doors of the senses and enter into objects. In the Supreme First (Tantra), it says: Everything is the nature of space, but space has no nature. By uniting with space, the all-supreme equality is revealed. In the Guhyasamaja (Tantra), it says: Dharmas are without essence, yet the suchness of dharmas is fully explained. Emaho! Arising from wonder, meditate on space in space. The meaning is: The inner mind, even the slight clarity of thoughts, awareness, and movement, is without inherent existence, because it arises from the power of karma winds under the control of others. Because its essence is emptiness, like space, all phenomena of grasping and being grasped are primordially unborn and unarisen, abiding in equality like space. Third, it is said to be the meaning of union, the great seal. The term "Great Seal" means that it cannot be pointed out by its own nature. Therefore, the suchness of the mind is the very nature of the Great Seal. As it is said in the Great Seal Bindu: My own nature cannot be spoken of; it is difficult to find even for all the Buddhas. In the Two Examinations (Tantra): There is no form, nor is there a seer; there is no sound, nor is there a hearer; there is no smell, nor is there a smeller; there is no taste, nor is there a taster; there is no touch, nor is there a toucher; there is no mind, nor is there anything arising from the mind. The meaning is: Therefore, the word "Great Seal" cannot be pointed out by its own nature in ultimate truth, because neither external objects nor self-awareness have been found to have truly established grasping and being grasped. Transcending intellect and beyond the realm of the mind, the suchness of the mind, which is primordially united and inherent, is the very nature of the ground, the Great Seal, and has never moved from it. Thus, by establishing the view of the Great Seal as being free from acceptance through the three: appearance is unreal, awareness is unborn, and union transcends the mind. Second, the meditation of the Great Seal is taught in three parts: First, it is said to be the meaning of the abiding nature, the Great Seal: It cannot be altered or changed; whoever sees that
