Glorious Naropa's Vajra Words: A Concise Instruction on Mahamudra, Combining the Teachings of the Tantras, Primarily Presenting an Easily Understood Small Commentary. ༄༅། Glorious Naropa's Vajra Words: A Concise Instruction on Mahamudra, Combining the Teachings of the Tantras, Primarily Presenting an Easily Understood Small Commentary. Homage! ༄༅། །Namo Guru Bhya! This concise instruction on the Great Seal of Glorious Naropa has three parts: the beginning, the main body, and the conclusion. The first has two parts: stating the title and offering praise. The first is: In Sanskrit: Maha Mudra Pada Mita. In Tibetan: Great Seal, Concise Meaning. As it says in the Tantra of the Great Seal Bindu: Listen, goddess, the great seal, the great seal, the great secret, inexpressible, inexhaustible, unborn, all that has form is separate from form, the formless is the supreme of form, separate from coarse and fine, its nature is immeasurable. In the statement of the title: A(藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:A) is the best of all letters, the letter of great meaning is supreme, it arises from within, it is unborn, it abandons expression in words, it is the best cause of all expressions. The Root Tantra of Supreme Bliss says: Then the great secret should be explained, it is concise and not extensive. Thus, the Great Seal pervades all three: the ground, the path, and the result. It transcends all objects of the mind, and is unsurpassed because it is superior to the three seals, so it is the object to be expressed. The word "meaning" is the expression, although it cannot be expressed in ultimate truth, in conventional truth it represents the suchness of all things. "Concise" means that it shows the essence of the meaning in brief. The second is: I prostrate to the state of great bliss! As it says in the Two Examinations of Hevajra: It has no beginning, no middle, no end, no existence, no nirvana, this is the supreme great bliss, without self and without other. And: Self-awareness is great bliss nature, from self-awareness comes enlightenment. In the Conduct of All Yoginis: Wherever great bliss is called the only nature, the only experience makes the dance of many. From the Five Stages: Just as water is placed in water, just as
