If this is understood, then all of appearance and existence is Mahamudra, and the Dharmakaya is vast and boundless. As it is said in the Guhyasamaja Tantra: "Devoid of all things, aggregates, realms, and sources, completely abandoning the grasped and the grasper, the selflessness of phenomena is equality, one's own mind is originally unborn, it is the nature of emptiness." It is said in the Vinayasamuccaya: "Likewise, that mind, in the nature of no-mind, distinguishes between one and many, the differences between things and non-things, where completely abandoned, wherever it is, that itself is, the nature of co-emergent joy is clear." It is said in the Mahamudra Tilaka: "Furthermore, it is known as the Dharmadhatu, listen to it, I will explain. Space is the Dharmadhatu, the Dhatu is shown as the seed, it exists within all phenomena, it is the cause and the supreme state." Just as there is oil in sesame seeds, just as there is fire in all woods, so it exists in all phenomena. It is said in the Guhyasamaja Tantra: "These things are unborn, there is no phenomenon and no nature of phenomena, like the nature of space, this is the way of enlightenment." It is said in the Mahamudra Tilaka: "The perfectly complete Buddha, if he finds a form in conventional truth, the realms of the world are countless and innumerable, it is not other, I pervade it." The meaning is that, for the reality of Mahamudra, there is nothing to be accepted or rejected by transforming and altering the path. If someone understands and comprehends the Suchness that transcends all grasping and clinging elaborations in an unseen way, then all of appearance and existence is Mahamudra, the Dharmakaya is vast and boundless, and there is nothing else that can be established apart from it. Therefore, one should know that all that is established in the stages of the path and the fruit does not deviate from the self-arisen wisdom of the ground. Second, it explains the way of understanding as the meaning of Mahamudra: Abide in the uncorrected nature, the inconceivable is the Dharmakaya, abiding without searching is meditation, searching and meditating is a deluded mind. As it is said in the glorious Stainless Tantra: "Thereafter, having assumed the lotus posture, looking at the tip of the nose, the yogi, with his own nature, abides in equanimity to see that." It is said in the Vajra Heart Ornament Tantra: "Having entered in this way, until the mind does not tire, abide equally in the mind.

Abiding in such a state. Strive and meditate upon that. It is said in the Vinayasamuccaya: When one touches that very thing, all thoughts are without thought. When one thinks of the unthinkable, at that time it becomes inconceivable. The meaning is: A yogi who sees the meaning of the great seal of reality, by resting naturally and without artifice in the nature of that very thing, and experiencing the unthinkable meaning individually through self-awareness, is the Dharmakaya of the path. Therefore, without seeking elsewhere than one's own mind, one should meditate by placing the mind in its own nature. To seek elsewhere and meditate after altering it is nothing more than the deluded mind of grasping and clinging. Third, it is said to be the meaning of the indivisible great seal: How are the sky and illusion? There is no duality of meditating and not meditating. Where is separation and non-separation? The yogi understands it in that way. As it is said in the Guhyasamaja: There is no meditation where there is no object. What is to be meditated upon is not meditation. Thus, because there is object and non-object, meditation is without object. In the Hevajra it says: The nature of things without things, like the sky, is without stain. With the vajra of the wisdom of emptiness, one meditates completely in emptiness. In the Vajragarbha it says: There is no mantra, and there is no recitation. All three realms do not exist. By the nature of the Dharmadhatu, there is no meditation and no object of meditation. The meaning is: Just as from the pure sky, illusions such as clouds and rainbows appear, from the time of appearance there is no appearance. Similarly, from the time of meditation, there is no meditation with grasping and clinging, and because one has not moved from one's own nature, there is also no non-meditation. Thus, by meditating in this way, the habitual tendencies of afflictions are empty in nature, so there is no separation. And because it exists simultaneously with the nature of mind, how can there be non-separation? Therefore, when yogis equalize their minds with the wisdom of the ultimate truth, the great seal, they should understand it in that way. With these, the uncorrected state of reality, the inconceivable way of understanding, and the indivisible freedom from extremes, establish that meditation, the great seal, is free from mental fabrication. Third, regarding the conduct of the great seal, there are three. First, it is said to be the meaning of the self-liberation great seal: All virtuous and sinful actions are liberated by knowing that very thing, the great wisdom of afflictions.
