Gathering all virtuous roots together, with great rejoicing, increase them through skillful means. First, dispel the poisonousness of obstacles and dedicate them completely through the grasp of favorable conditions and skillful wisdom. Among these, the first is to dedicate all the objects of merit with the concept of holding onto the three wheels as characteristics, which is a poisonous dedication. The Eight Thousand Verse Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra states, "For those with the concept of holding onto characteristics, there is no complete dedication. Why? Because it is accompanied by the poison of characteristics." Therefore, it should be avoided in every way. The second is that if one dedicates completely with a dedication grasped by skillful wisdom, it will become a dedication with four kinds of goodness, as it is said: The object is good and the teacher is good, The means are good and the renunciation, With the nature of good conduct, It is explained as a true aspiration. Thus, it is grasped by the view of wisdom without self and the means of bodhicitta. First, in the ultimate truth, because the nature of all phenomena is free from elaboration, therefore, abandon holding onto characteristics for the enlightenment to which one dedicates, the virtuous roots to which one dedicates, and the three, the one who dedicates, and abandon arrogance such as "this virtuous root is good." In the sight of omniscient wisdom, dedicate in the state of knowing that no conceptualization of the three wheels is perceived. Lord Maitreya said, "That is the aspect of non-objectification, it is the nature of non-perversion." Therefore, second, from that state, in conventional truth, with the wisdom of knowing that appearances such as horses and elephants conjured by a magician appear but have no inherent existence, without deliberately acting, make it common with all sentient beings equal to the extent of space, and dedicate completely for the sake of attaining the state of omniscience. Lord Shantideva said, "Whether directly or indirectly, do not engage in anything other than the benefit of sentient beings. For the sake of sentient beings alone, dedicate everything for the sake of enlightenment." Therefore, when dedicating in such a way, as it is said in the sutra, "Whoever remembers the Buddha, the Teacher resides before him." Therefore, in the sky in front, the ten directions
