Or in existence as a sign, or as the enemy of conceptualization, or until thieves and the like arise, one should abide in knowing it as such. Furthermore, Omniscient Vairochana said: In the naked Dharmadhatu where there is no meditation, do not let the unthinking awareness be distracted. If a thought arises, it is self-arisen and self-liberated. There is no root of view and meditation instructions beyond that. Furthermore, Rongzom Pandita Chökyi Zangpo said: The root of all dharmas is that no actions are prohibited. The Dharmakaya without bondage or liberation is one's own innate mind. If one does not realize one's own mind, Ati, no matter what one does, it is the cause of bondage. Furthermore, Heruka Ngönzur Chen Shakya Jungne said: That which is named as view, if there is something to be seen, it is not a view. Look at the meaning of that which has nothing to be seen. Take the inexpressible nature of reality as the path. And so on. From the instructions of Jetsun Manjushri to the great Sakya master: If there is grasping, it is not a view. Furthermore, the meaning of that, Jetsun Drakpa, said: Holding onto existence has no liberation, holding onto non-existence has no higher realms. Because of not knowing how to hold onto both, abide as you please in the state of non-duality. Furthermore, Glorious Great Compassion said: If conceptualization is controlled by wisdom, there is no samsara. If wisdom is controlled by conceptualization, there is no liberation. Although the generation stage is conceptualization, the essence of conceptualization is mind itself. The nature of mind is clarity and awareness. The nature of clarity and awareness is emptiness. Emptiness is primordially the Dharmadhatu. Knowing that delusion is the Dharmadhatu itself, therefore all conceptualizations, no matter how one meditates, are non-conceptual. Even if one searches, how can one find delusion? If all the movements of the mind are fully known to be the Dharmadhatu, then the delusion of great non-conceptual wisdom does not exist separately. Furthermore, Jetsun Drakpa said: Since there is no birth, cessation, or abiding, what should one think about this inexpressible? Speaking the unspeakable is meaningless, and it is not a place to think about the unthinkable. What should one meditate on in the unmeditated? Knowing it in that way will become without grasping. Furthermore, Jamgön Sakya Pandita said: Conventional appearances are like dreams and illusions. Whatever arises is emptiness, it is the way the mind operates. In the state of the unconditioned great seal,

Look! The mind's memory is precious, translator! Also, the teachings of glorious Saraha to Jetsun Marpa Lotsawa: With the later consciousness, there is no patching up the mind. Knowing that appearances and existence are the nature of the mind, there is no need to cultivate by applying antidotes. The mind's natural state cannot be remembered. That too, rest in an uncorrected state. Also, not seeing samsara as a fault, nirvana is not something to be attained. Ordinary awareness, its own nature, rests in an uncorrected, raw state. Also, the words of the Lord himself: In the bardo between birth and death, whatever appearances of discursive thoughts arise, appearances are without inherent existence. If delusion arises, attain reversion. Look at your own mind for reversion. By looking, insubstantiality is liberated in its own place. Also, the lord of yogis, Milarepa, said: In the ultimate meaning, there is no negation or affirmation. In the true meaning, there is no thought. If you know how to meditate without thought, afflictions will be exhausted like a knife, exhausted like wear. Once many thoughts arise, no matter how you meditate, you cannot be liberated. When thoughtless thoughts are exhausted, the karmic ripening of sins is exhausted. Also, Dharma Lord Dagpo Rinpoche said: The mind that is placed without correction is the Buddha. Rest freely in all activities, such as walking, standing, lying down, and sitting. The mind that is placed in that way is like the sky. It is a view that never falls to any side. Also, Machig Labdrön said: In the self-luminous state of the vast expanse of the Dharmadhatu, whatever arises as memory and thought is what arises. For example, in the great ocean, waves and so on arise. A person who realizes that, without fabrication, rests in his own place. Benefit and harm do not arise, and are liberated in the Dharmadhatu. Also, the great accomplished Ugyenpa said: Unbiased awareness is without support. Without letting the conditions of the six aggregates run wild, it is vast in the state of great freedom from elaboration. That unwavering is the supreme of views. Also, the teachings of the glorious Lord of Secrets to Lhodrak Drubchen Namkha Gyaltsen: The Bodhicitta that cannot be seen, possessing the essence of emptiness and compassion, rest in an unspeakable and unthinkable state, rest in a state beyond mind, rest in a state of effortless relaxation. Resting is a word of mind. There is no expression of resting or not resting. Nameless, unspeakable, free from examination, the mind of examination appearances is pacified in the Dharmadhatu. Negation, affirmation, abandonment, and adoption are in the Dharmadhatu.
