Dza Ha, Ban Na Ne, Ne Gri Ha Ta, Sarva Sara, Prawadina, Bimukta Mara Pasha Swabita, Buddha Mudra, Anungatita, Sarva Mare, Puzarita Parishuddhe, Bigatsantu, Sarva Mara Karmani. Recite this seven times in a whisper. It is said in the sutra requested by Lodro Gyatso that by saying this, obstacles from demons will not occur. Then, when the students gather, they sit in order of seniority. In order to avert obstacles to teaching and listening to the Dharma, they also practice the Heart Sutra along with the demon-repelling ritual. Connecting with the seven-branch offering and the mandala offering, the teacher, with pure love free from distractions and great compassion wishing to liberate from samsara, says: Whoever dwells on Mount Meru Mandara, the essence of gold, along with the gods and yakshas, and the nagas who dispel the darkness beneath the earth with the light of jewels, whoever are the vidyadharas who revel in glory and are exceedingly joyful on the snowy mountains, all of you, in order to hear the words of the Sage, which have become the gate of supreme liberation, please come here! Lords of gods and asuras, humans and non-humans, and Indra and others who have acted in the direction of the Dharma, which has become the cause of the Buddha's teachings being utterly peaceful and happy, please come here to listen to the exposition of these sacred teachings! Whoever in the ten thousand worlds has become a disciple of the Sugata, today the teacher is raining down the rain of Dharma, all who wish to listen, please come here! Thus, gathering the gods, nagas, yakshas, and others who delight in the white side as retinue. In this way, this which is a vast treasure of qualities and a precious treasure, to this which accomplishes great benefit, with faith and respect, because there is nothing else more worthy of listening to than this, tame this elephant of the senses well, and listen to the words of the Sage. The people who are well spoken by the Teacher are auspicious, place them in the mind that is the source of all, because this is the nectar in the ears of all beings, and it is the medicine that cures all diseases of afflictions, therefore, contemplate its meaning correctly. By these causes, it is appropriate to listen well to the Buddha's words. Thus, encourage listening, and recite all of these or according to the suitability of the verses. Gods

And the languages of nagas and yakshas, etc., are spoken or their meanings are contemplated in the mind. At the very beginning, one should definitely generate renunciation and adjust the motivation with words of bodhicitta. Abandon the three faults and six stains of the vessel for listening to the Dharma, rely on the four thoughts, etc., and clarify the code of conduct. Then, engage in reciting the scriptures, giving explanations, and bestowing instructions, etc. During explanations and instructions, etc., it should be appropriate to the students' capacities. For those with great wisdom, explain with concise and well-connected words, and profound and extensive meanings. For those with lesser intelligence, explain with words that are easy to grasp and understand, and meanings that are easy to comprehend and pleasing to the ear. Whatever is explained, it should be based on the scriptures, treatises, and teachings. The meaning of the scriptures should be established by reason, in accordance with sound reasoning, valid cognition, and direct perception. The practice should be integrated with the teachings by means of instructions that do not contradict the scriptures and treatises. And the practice should not contradict the teachings, and it should be well explained in the manner of brief indication, detailed explanation, and summarizing the meaning. In particular, when explaining the scriptures, the words and meanings should be definitive, and when giving instructions, the meaning of the practice and the object of meditation should be summarized into key points. Finally, recite the dedication prayer for teaching the Dharma, which comes from the writings of the noble Asanga: From this explanation of the precious supreme Dharma, may whatever infinite merit I have obtained, may it make all beings vessels for the precious, stainless, supreme Dharma. May the hosts of demons and all non-Buddhist doctrines, and the many dark emanations disguised as Dharma, and all other harms to beings, may I utterly destroy them from their roots by my power. Etc., these and others should be used to make extensive dedications and aspirations. Specifically, during the general teaching and learning of the precious tantras of the unsurpassable Vajrayana, and when giving profound instructions, the students gather together, and the teacher and students together recite the hundred-syllable mantra and confess sins in order to purify the tantra. In order to receive blessings, they pray to the root and lineage gurus. If they know and are able, they should clearly establish the protective circle. The students offer mandalas, and the teacher offers tormas to the yidam and Dharma protectors in order to pacify obstacles. These should be practiced as rituals. And the place and house should be visualized as a pure land and a palace.
