It is like spreading or unfolding a Dharma robe, a name that pervades all, called "unfolding." In short, it is called "firm unfolding." Furthermore, the so-called "Jambudvipa," Jambu refers to a large tree on the northern shore of the southern continent of Jambudvipa, called Jambu, whose fruits are the size of pottery jars. When these fruits fall into the water, they turn into gold in the Jambu River. Therefore, it is named Jambudvipa as a symbol. In addition, there are very many definitions regarding the classifications of celestial abodes, etc. Also, those that are difficult to measure are also separated chapter by chapter, explained with reasoning, and written into texts. Those that are not suitable to be explained in simple language, those that are suitable to be translated according to sound, are named by emphasizing the sound. Some that are suitable to be named according to meaning are named by emphasizing the meaning. In the presence of the Tsanpo (Songtsen Gampo, king of Tibet in the 7th century), the great translator Bana Deva Great Virtue, and the great Pandit Tingngezin and others also gathered. The ministers and the king gathered to discuss the method of translating the Dharma, and the matters of naming Indian languages into Tibetan, etc., and finally determined them and promulgated decrees. The method of translating the sacred Dharma should not contradict the meaning, and should also be suitable for Tibetan language habits. When translating the Dharma, do not change the order of the Indian language, but translate it into Tibetan that is related to both meaning and words, and is true. If changing the order makes it easier to understand, then the verses can be four or six lines, whichever is fine. In one verse, the order can be changed flexibly for translation. For single sentences, the order of words and meanings should be changed flexibly according to the meaning being pursued. For cases where a word has multiple meanings, the meaning should be determined according to the context. For example, the sound "go" in "go ta mya" can mean words, direction, land, light, vajra, cow, high place, and many other meanings. Also, "ko shi ka" can mean holding kusha grass, wise person, fond of lotus, owl, possessing wealth, etc. If translated according to the rules of sound, there will be many meanings. When translating, one word contains multiple meanings
