It is said so, and other measurements besides the Tathagata are said to be 120 fingers. In the text on measurements composed by the incarnate Phrang-kha-ba Palden Lodrö Zangpo, the explanation in the main text does not contradict the Smanthangpa system, but in one of its annotations, it is stated that 125 fingers are for sculptures and 120 fingers are for paintings. Therefore, later scholars proclaimed that the Kalachakra sculpture is 125 fingers and the Guhyasamaja painting is 130 fingers, which is incorrect. Why? Because in the Guhyasamaja ritual text, the body measurement of the Tathagata is repeatedly shown to be 125 fingers. In it, it says: one-twelfth of the face, as well as small parts, fingers, and finger-widths, have the same meaning. It should be known to distinguish small parts in all of these. The face of the Blessed One's Buddha-body is twelve and a half small parts. It also says: twelve parts refer to all common features other than the Tathagata. It also says: whenever making a body image, first determine the radius of the measurement of the body image, then set one-tenth of it as the palm, and then divide it into twelve small parts, one of which must be determined as a small part. Because it is said that the body image is ten units high and the face measurement is twelve and a half units, 125 fingers must appear. Similarly, in the measurement texts of many previous scholars, it is also said that the Buddha image must be 125 fingers, with no difference between painting and sculpture. In particular, the work by Smanthangpa must be acknowledged as being like a Chinese classic in this system. In it, it is repeatedly stated that the body measurement of the supreme incarnate is 126 fingers, with no difference between painting and sculpture. Therefore, dividing these two into painting and sculpture separately is arbitrary, I think. So, what is its measurement? It should be said that everything else is as described in the Kalachakra. The difference here is that in length, there are four fingers for the thighs there, which does not appear here, but between the thigh and the buttocks: four fingers are fully present. It is said that three fingers above and below the kneecap, that is, two fingers each appear between the buttocks, totaling four fingers, and the knee

Furthermore, when re-interpreting the palm, adding one finger at each point results in a total height of one hundred and twenty-five fingers for the body. Regarding fields, according to the Kalachakra system, the calculation is based on twenty sections for the arm and sixteen sections for the wrist. Although one finger is added between the elbow and forearm, here the hand refers to the third palm, i.e., "this palm has two palm-heads." The commentary states that there are three palms from the armpit to the forearm, plus the palm of the palm-head, calculating these half by half, totaling one hundred and twenty-five fingers for the field. Moreover, the second major point is that, apart from these, Bodhisattvas and other peaceful, common Chakravartin-like figures, the *Vinaya-samuccaya-mula-tika* states: "At the boundaries and boundaries, two small parts are reduced respectively. Therefore, for peaceful deities such as Bodhisattvas, reducing two and a half small parts each from the upper and lower parts of the body results in a body of a hundred parts plus twenty small parts." This is the meaning. Furthermore, after indicating the size of the Buddha, it is said: "These are temporarily the characteristics of the Buddha Bhagavan and glorious Hevajra, and are the same for Bodhisattva heroes. However, for those with ten palms, half of a small part should be discarded from each palm, and the form of ten palms should be established with a palm of twelve small parts." Also, the *Siksa-samuccaya* states: "Bodhisattvas also have ten palms of twelve fingers high." The meaning of these and others is that the difference from the Tathagata's body size is that it is measured with a face size of twelve small parts, resulting in one hundred and twenty fingers, which is easy to understand. Moreover, the third major point is that, like a queen mother's enchanting form, the *Vinaya-samuccaya-mula* states: "The pleasing self-image should be drawn with nine palms." The meaning is that the pleasing image, such as the goddesses in the mandala like Arya Tara, has a height and width of nine palms. Moreover, the size and proportion of the palm are similar to the direction of one hundred and twenty fingers. The special feature is that one small part is reduced from the forehead height and neck, and the height from the secret place to the top of the head is five and a half, the lower part of the body, four fingers between the thigh and shin, and one finger each below the knee, from the secret place to the sole of the foot.
