Without delaying after thinking, confess with restraint through remedies, and rejoice without jealousy in the roots of virtue of the three paths of samsara, nirvana, and the path, encompassed by the truths of conventional and ultimate reality. And exhort the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions to turn the wheel of Dharma, starting from the three vehicles of Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas. And pray that they do not pass into nirvana until samsara is empty. And dedicating all the roots of virtue accumulated in the three times, represented by the roots of virtue accumulated in this way, entirely to all sentient beings to attain Buddhahood. Remembering the objects of the seven-limbed practice, make offerings with prostrations and so on, as appropriate. Third, supplicating and receiving empowerment: Thus, attaining the state of liberation and omniscience depends on the realization of the co-emergent wisdom of one's own mind. And the arising of realization depends on the blessings of the Guru, and the entering of blessings depends solely on the interdependent connection of devotion. Therefore, be certain that one's own root Guru is equal to the Buddha in terms of qualities, and even far surpasses the Buddha in terms of kindness. Generate conviction, and completely entrust body, speech, and mind to the Guru. From now until the attainment of enlightenment, whatever happiness, suffering, good, or bad may occur, think that only you, Guru, know. In the manner of completely relying, with the hairs of the body standing on end, tears welling up in the eyes, the mind stolen by the Guru, with no other thought than the Guru, with intense devotion and longing that makes body and mind unable to stand firm, recite "Jetsun Guru Rinpoche," etc., as much as possible. And after reciting "I have no other place to rely on," etc., the appropriate number of times, Unify the yoga of supplication and exhortation with Vajra Guru. At that time, begin with the seed syllables of the three vajras, (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम् आः हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ āḥ hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om Ah Hum). Vajra (Tibetan: བཛྲ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्र, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra, Literal Chinese Meaning: Vajra) refers to the Dharmakaya, which cannot be divided by the proliferation of conceptual constructs. Guru (Tibetan: གུ་རུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गुरु, Sanskrit Romanization: guru, Literal Chinese Meaning: Guru) refers to the Sambhogakaya, which is heavy with the burden of qualities endowed with the seven limbs of union from that state. Padma (Tibetan: པདྨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: पद्म, Sanskrit Romanization: padma, Literal Chinese Meaning: Lotus) refers to the Nirmanakaya, which also manifests as the speech lotus family with the radiance of discriminating wisdom. Thus, follow the qualities of the Guru Orgyen Chenpo, inseparable from the three kayas.

Then, pray with a longing devotion in the state of the mind's nature, free from elaboration, and by the power of such prayer, may all the siddhis, both supreme and common, (ཧཱུྃ,吽,hūṃ,吽) be granted to my mindstream at this very moment, thinking thus. At times, visualize the outer world as the palace of the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain (Padmasambhava's pure land), the inner essence as the assembly of Oddiyana heroes and heroines, all sounds as the natural sound of mantra, and the secret as the self-liberation of mental activity, knowing it as the traceless path of birds, and strive in recitation. Finally, remembering the qualities of the root and lineage gurus, with the supplication and aspiration of the lineage, with intense devotion and longing, the retinue dissolves into the root guru. From the guru abiding as the essence of all refuges, after receiving the four empowerments as they are revealed in the course of oral recitation, mix the guru's body, speech, and mind with one's own three doors inseparably, and maintain the clarity of one's own mind, awareness-emptiness, naked, in a momentary state, and recite. When concluding the session, recite "When the time of life is done," etc., and simultaneously, the visualization of the completion stage gathering is: due to intense longing for the guru, the guru, with compassionate grace, especially cares for oneself. With a smiling face and eyes moving with affection, a red ray of light, warm and hot, emanates from the heart. The moment it touches the heart of oneself, visualized as Vajrayogini, the body and mind feel immense bliss. Finally, the red light dissolves into the nature of great bliss. The nature of wind and mind, inseparable, becomes a mustard seed-sized sphere of light. That sphere of light also dissolves into the heart of Guru Rinpoche, like a spark rising upwards, and abide in that state. When rising from that, like a fish leaping in clear water, the base body and the appearance of the pure land, along with its arrangement, are clear as before. Pray with "Glorious root guru, precious one, please abide on the lotus seat on my crown," etc., the general supplication, dedication, aspiration, and the aspiration of the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain, and also the secret path of the Glorious Mountain. During the breaks between sessions, as explained in the context of the yoga of the three common ways of practice during recitation and visualization, and especially, contemplate the essence of food and drink as the nature of nectar, and clothes as the garments of the gods.
