As all bathe, with pure divine water, so do I bathe the Buddha. Om Sarva Tatagata Abhisheka Te Samaya Shriye Hum. May I be adorned with the excellent garment of patience! Although there is no stain obscuring the stainless mark, yet with faithful heart offering the banner of saffron robes, may all sentient beings, as boundless as the sky, practice the supreme conduct of the Buddha! Inviting to be seated: For the sake of compassion for me and all beings, please, with your miraculous power, for as long as I make offerings, may the Bhagavan remain here. Ratna Asana Padma Kamalaya Tvam. Having offered the seat in this way, visualize that in the center of the vast mansion adorned with jewels, under the shade of the flourishing Bodhi tree, on a jeweled throne supported by peacocks, the Buddhas and their retinue reside, inseparable from the clearly visualized assembly field in front, thereby generating a strong sense of pure intention and faithful devotion. Second, accumulating merit has three parts: offering the seven branches, urging to uphold vows through recitation, and training in the visualization of purifying the field.
