Furthermore: This leisure and opportunity is extremely difficult to find. If a practitioner achieves meaningful accomplishments, but does not benefit beings in this life, how will they attain perfect fortune in the future? The three realms are impermanent, like autumn clouds; the birth, aging, sickness, and death of beings are like watching a dance; the lifespan of beings is like lightning in the sky; it flows swiftly like water flowing down a steep mountain. When death approaches, even a king must depart; enjoyment, friends, and relatives will not follow him. Wherever practitioners are, wherever they go, karma follows them like a shadow. Influenced by craving, existence, and ignorance, beings unknowingly revolve in the five realms, in the three states of humans, gods, and evil destinies, like a potter's wheel constantly turning. The three realms blaze with the suffering of old age and sickness; here, the fire of death blazes fiercely, without protection; beings are born from karma and are always deluded, revolving like a bee trapped in a jar. In order to completely liberate myself and all other beings from such terrifying suffering of samsara, I take refuge with utmost devotion in the supreme guru and the precious Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. Thus, concluding with the mind of a great being. The second part is taking refuge: In the sky in front, visualize the objects of refuge appearing clearly as they are, and in the presence of the sole refuge of myself and all sentient beings, with the three doors united, generate the mind of taking refuge. Homage! I and all sentient beings as vast as space, take refuge in the guru, Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, take refuge in the yidam, heroes, dakinis, and dharma protectors. Please, compassionate ones, have mercy. After reciting as much as possible, visualize the light from the objects of refuge purifying the sins and obscurations of oneself and others. The third part is generating the mind of enlightenment, which is divided into three aspects: Generating the aspiration for enlightenment, accumulating merit, and training the mind in engaging in the bodhisattva's conduct. The first part is: Visualizing the field of merit as witnesses, while remembering their meaning in your heart. Ho! Just as the Buddhas of the past and their retinues generated the supreme and excellent mind of enlightenment, so too, for the sake of benefiting all mother-like beings as vast as space, I vow to attain Buddhahood. The second part is: Myself and all other sentient beings prostrate with respectful body, speech, and mind, visualizing offering clouds, vast and boundless, etc.

Therefore, Om (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: perfection), Ah (Tibetan, Devanagari: आः, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: arising), Hum (Tibetan, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: subjugation), Hrih (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: great compassion)! To the Vidyadharas like Padmasambhava and all the refuge places in the ten directions, I prostrate! With actual offerings and mind-created offerings, I offer with Samantabhadra's offering clouds filling the sky! I confess the violations and deficiencies of the vows of individual liberation, the Bodhisattva, and the Mantrayana vows of the Vidyadharas! The assemblies of noble ones and ordinary beings, I rejoice in the deeds of the Buddhas' heirs! For the sake of limitless beings suffering, turn the Dharma wheel that benefits them appropriately! For countless and immeasurable eons, remain without passing into Nirvana for the sake of beings! I dedicate all the merits accumulated in the three times, so that all beings may attain the essence of Bodhi! Third: With the loving-kindness of giving my happiness to others, and the compassion of taking on the suffering of others, with the joy of wishing not to be separated from these, and the equanimity of treating all equally, with an unbiased intention, and with the desire to learn the great conduct of the Bodhisattvas. By this merit, may all beings have happiness, may they be free from all suffering, may I ripen (all virtues), may I not be separated from the bliss without suffering, may all dharmas equally abide in equanimity. Thus say. Fourth is the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva to purify sins and obscurations. First, the visualization of the support's power: Ah! Above the lotus and moon seat on my head, the wisdom body of all Buddhas, Vajrasattva, great bliss, the radiance of a flawless autumn moon, holding a vajra and bell in his two hands, embracing his own light-emanating consort, adorned with silk and jewels, with his two feet in the vajra full lotus posture, residing in a realm of rainbow light and bindus. Thus visualize. With the power of overcoming, with strong regret for sins and downfalls as a precursor. With the power of universally applying the antidote, contemplate the object of mantra recitation in your mind: In the center of the moon disc at the heart, the heart essence Hum (Tibetan, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: subjugation) of all Sugatas, surrounded by the hundred-syllable mantra. As you recite, light radiates out, accomplishing the two benefits, returning and descending a stream of nectar, entering through your own Brahma's aperture, purifying all sins, obscurations, and deficiencies, becoming pure and immaculate. Thus say and contemplate. Om (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: perfection) Vajrasattva Samaya Manupalaya Vajrasattva
