In front of them, I and others, from beginningless time, I intend to perform the seven-branch offering, including confession of accumulated sins. Please repeat this: From refuge in the Three Jewels, etc., May it be accomplished. After purifying the mindstream in this way, repeat this uncommon prayer three times: Lama Vajradhara, the Great One, etc., all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, and the seven Sugata Medicine Buddhas, Please consider me, the teacher. Make the mudra. On its crown, the Sugata named Auspicious One, with a golden body, the right hand giving the fearlessness mudra, and the left hand making the meditation mudra. All are wearing three saffron-colored monastic robes, sitting on a lotus and moon seat in the vajra posture. Adorned with marks and signs. Speech endowed with sixty qualities. Mind knowing the suchness and the extent of knowable things. With a body adorned by a circle of light, generate faith in each one as the path, and in front of each Sugata, prostrate, offer, and pray in sequence, making this recitation and visualization. Pray: Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, King of Auspiciously Proclaimed Glory, I prostrate! I offer! I take refuge! Tathagata King of Auspiciously Proclaimed Glory, as you made aspirations in the past, please bless me and all sentient beings to attain accomplishment in an instant. After praying thus, the Sugata named Auspicious One dissolves into light and merges into the King of Sound, generate this faith. Similarly, at the beginning of each name, add: Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha. Adorned with jewels, moon, and lotus, the wise and glorious King of Sound... Pure gold, stainless, jewel-like light, ascetic achiever... Supreme, auspicious, free from sorrow... Voice of the Ocean of Dharma... Playing with the ocean of Dharma with supreme wisdom, King of Manifest Knowledge... Medicine Guru, King of Lapis Lazuli Light... Add each of these names one by one, making prostrations, offerings, and prayers, combining them in a way that the higher merges into the lower, and so on. Finally, after praying thus, the Sugata Medicine Guru dissolves into light and merges from the crown chakra into you, and with this light, all your diseases, evil spirits, and defilements are purified. The remaining feces and urine and the blackish things that come out from the soles of your feet, the body becomes as clear as a crystal ball. In this state, you instantly sit on a lotus and moon seat, becoming the Medicine Buddha.
