Namo dza (prostration). Swabhava (Tibetan, स्वभाव, svabhāva, self-nature) etc. From the state of emptiness, in the place where you all reside, Po transforms into a lotus, and A transforms into a moon, upon which resides a white Om. From that, light radiates, gathers, and completely transforms, you all become victorious Amitayus, etc., bound by the threads of Ali Kali (Tibetan, Sanskrit letters). On the crown of the outer Amitayus is a white Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit: ॐ, Oṃ, perfection), at the throat is a red Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱ, Sanskrit: आ, Ā, arising), and at the heart is a blue Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit: हूँ, Hūṃ, subjugation). Having visualized them clearly, focus on the mantra garland encircling the Om syllable at the heart of the Wisdom Being. From that, five-colored rays of light emanate from your mouths. Inviting all the blessings of the Tathagatas, especially the blessings of Amitayus to extend life, they dissolve into your hearts, filling the body with the nectar of immortal wisdom, and all things that increase life gather and dissolve. Restore what has declined, and increase and stabilize what exists, generate such faith. At the end of the longevity dharani, recite "Vajra Aveshaya A A (Tibetan, བཛྲ་ཨཱ་བེ་ཤ་ཡ་ཨ་ཨཱ, Sanskrit: वज्र आवेशय आ आ, Vajra āveśaya ā ā, Vajra enter Ah Ah)" many times, and perform incense and music. Finally, place the vajra on the crown of the head, and recite "Tishta Vajra (Tibetan, ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ, Sanskrit: तिष्ठ वज्र, Tiṣṭha vajra, Stay Vajra)" to stabilize it, generate such faith. Then, for the sake of the actual empowerment, please repeat this supplication. Just as Bodhi Vajra offered to the Buddha, for the sake of protecting me, please grant me the Space Vajra now. Three times. Visualize in this way. Your bodies are emptiness, the nature of clear light free from obscurations and obstacles, and in the center, the Avadhuti nadi, white on the outside and red on the inside, with the upper end opening at the Brahma aperture and the lower end closing at the secret place, visualize it as straight and upright. This vase is the form of the Bhagavan Protector Amitayus, the father and mother, visualize them coming to your crown, and after reciting, place the vase on the crown. The Bodhicitta of the union of the father and mother, transformed into the essence of the nectar of immortal wisdom. Entering from the Brahma aperture at the crown of the head, filling up to the eyebrows, you receive the vase empowerment. Filling up to the throat, you receive the secret empowerment. Filling up to the heart, you receive the wisdom-knowledge empowerment. Filling the entire body, you receive the fourth empowerment. Purifying the defilements and habitual tendencies of body, speech, and mind.

Etc. (Pray that) the blessings and all the accomplishments of the body, speech, mind, and wisdom Vajra life be obtained. Visualize that from the remaining water, it surges upwards and manifests as Amitabha Buddha, adorning the head with the form of a Nirmanakaya. Visualize that the Brahma aperture is closed, and all the doors of the senses and pores are filled with the armor of the wrathful Hayagriva, red in color, wielding a chopper and making a threatening gesture. Having visualized thus, recite "ཤི་ཡེ་ཧཱུྃ། (Tibetan)" and offer vase water. Recite auspicious words such as "Leading the world." If you wish, place the longevity torma on the crown of the head. Again, visualize this torma as the protector Amitayus, inseparable from the Lama, and above that, the lineage Lamas are present like dense clouds, descending upon your heads, bestowing empowerment and blessings. Pray that all the Buddhas, Amitabha Buddha, Machig Labdrön, Rechung Dorje Drakpa, etc., up to our glorious and holy Lama, all the glorious and holy Lamas of the root and lineage, and the retinue of the Bhagavan protector Amitayus, grant the empowerment of deathless life to these Vajra disciples. Pray that they bestow the blessings of health and happiness. Pray that they increase the splendor of the body without aging. Pray that they grant a life like a Vajra. Recite the longevity dharani. In order to accomplish the ultimate of the mantra, in order to recite the transmission, visualize that you offer white flower garlands, and follow this prayer: "Bhagavan, I have grasped (you), please guide me, Bhagavan." Having prayed thus, visualize that a second mantra garland appears from the mantra garland in the Lama's heart, and dissolves into your hearts, follow and recite this mantra three times. Again, the Lama transforms the mantra garland into a flower garland, visualize that it is tied on your heads. Recite "ཨོཾ་སུ་པྲ་ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओंसुप्रतिष्ठवज्रायस्वाहा, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ supratiṣṭha vajrāya svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, well established, Vajra, Svaha.)" and scatter flowers. If you like elaboration, visualize the longevity pills and longevity wine as nectar arising from Amitayus, dissolving into light.
