This is a summary of key points: prostration, offering, requesting the turning of the wheel of Dharma, and praying not to pass into Nirvana, these are accumulating merit, confessing, purifying obscurations, rejoicing, and dedicating, which are special methods to promote the roots of virtue from higher to higher. Relying on such a path, one's own mind stream is endowed with a great collection of merit, so that entering into genuine aspirations, there are no obstacles and swift accomplishment, etc., having endless necessities. The actual aspiration is: like this, from remembering the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment, from the beginning of generating faith in the holy Dharma, until obtaining Buddhahood, for the benefit of sentient beings, without effort and naturally accomplished, all the Dharma of the Great Vehicle's path and fruit are completely perfected as the content to be explained. Among them, the consideration of the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment also includes considering its difficulty and considering its great benefit. The first point is further divided into considering its difficulty from the perspective of cause, number, metaphor, and essence. The first point is: the cause of obtaining a leisure body depends on the complete purity of discipline, but those who guard discipline are fewer than the stars in the daytime, so the fruit of obtaining leisure and endowment is also rare. The second point is: the sutras say that hells are like the dust of the earth, hungry ghosts are like blizzards, animals are like the residue of strong alcohol, humans are like the dust on fingernails, etc., widely proclaimed. The third point is: The Bodhisattvacharyavatara says: Therefore, the Bhagavan said, just as the yoke hole floating in the great ocean, the turtle's neck enters into it, it is extremely difficult to obtain a human body. It's like saying this. The fourth point is: In essence, if all eight leisures and ten endowments are not fully possessed, it cannot be called a leisure and endowment body, therefore, it is very rare to have all of them. Among them, the eight leisures are: not born in the eight unfree states, therefore having leisure to practice Dharma, so it is called leisure. The eight unfree states are: hell 1, hungry ghost 2, animal 3, and, long-lived gods and borderlands, wrong 6 views, Buddha 7 not abiding in the world, mute, these are the eight unfree states. The first four are called the four unfree states of non-humans, and the latter four are called the four unfree states of being born as humans. The ten endowments are: human body 1, central land 2, faculties 3 complete.

Faith in the four irreversible ends of karma. The five self-endowments are: A Buddha appears, teaches the Dharma, the teachings remain, one follows them, and one has compassion for others. The five other-endowments are: The five other-endowments, totaling ten. Secondly, having obtained such a support of leisure and endowment, one can accomplish the happiness of this life, the higher realms of future lives, the lower vehicle's nirvana, and the unsurpassed enlightenment. Therefore, it is far more excellent than obtaining a wish-fulfilling jewel. Thus, the teacher Shantideva said: This leisure is extremely difficult to obtain, and now that one has obtained the accomplishment of human purpose, if one does not practice benefit from it, how will one obtain this endowment again in the future? As it is said. Now that we have obtained this special support of leisure and endowment, we must strive to practice the pure Dharma, which depends on a virtuous friend who teaches the path correctly. Therefore, one should first rely on a qualified lama with respect through the two doors of intention and action. There are three ways to please the teacher: superior obedience, intermediate respect, and inferior material offerings. One should please the teacher with body, speech, and mind, along with possessions, in four meaningful ways, and then gradually practice listening, thinking, and meditating, so that one's own benefit is fulfilled. Afterwards, one should study until one can benefit beings by teaching, debating, and writing, thus benefiting the Buddha's teachings. Thinking about impermanence: Even though one has obtained such a perfect support of leisure and endowment, as it is said in the Extensive Play Sutra: The three realms are impermanent like autumn clouds, the birth and death of beings is like watching a dance. The life of a person is like lightning in the sky, flowing swiftly like a waterfall on a steep mountain. As it is said. Whether one thinks about the outer world, the inner beings, the changes of the four seasons, enemies, friends, or neutrals, one will certainly die. The length of life is uncertain, and there are many causes of death and few causes of life, so one does not know when one will die. At the time of death, food, wealth, relatives, power, and strength will not follow, and only the Dharma is beneficial. Therefore, one must quickly generate the determination to practice the Dharma. Thinking about karma and its effects: One will not disappear after death, but will follow one's karma.
