There he stayed for seven days. Although he did not know the rituals of the tantric lineage, the Vajra Holder associated with arrogance and falsehood. Even though he gave empowerment, he again explained the secrets to those who did not believe in tantra and were doubtful. Thus it is said. The second also has three aspects: the root taught in the two great Tantras and Agamas, the vows of the branches, and the four vows of the Great Perfection's essential view of the lineage. The first is: The established tenets of the vows are: The root is the three aspects of the guru's body, speech, and mind, with three sets of outer, inner, and secret vows each. Abandon killing, unchaste conduct, and stealing. Disparage parents, siblings, oneself, and any Dharma. Trample on the guru's shadow, harm the consort, and strike siblings. The three of speech are to abandon lying and harsh words. Do not respect practitioners who, in the name of Dharma, seize meaning, seize the mind, and seize the state of abiding. Do not despise the words of the guru's consort and siblings. The three of mind are to abandon the three aspects of mind, as well as wrong views in conduct, meditation, and view. 1. The guru is the deity, 2. The Dharma friends are the deities, and all meditation companions are of one mind. Thus it is said. Among them, the reason for referring to the root Vajra Samaya as the guru is because one's own body, speech, and mind are bound inseparably with the Vajra of the guru, who is the embodiment of all Buddhas? Or, if understood from the word "गुरु (guru, गुरु, guru, 咕噜)", it means heavy, that is, if violated, it is difficult to purify. The second is: The twenty-five branches that become the means. Accepting the tan-gan that has not been given, false joking words. The five things to be practiced are practiced with knowledge of permission and prohibition. The five afflictions such as desire and hatred. The five not to be abandoned are separation from those with self-continuum. Accepting the five is the distinction between purity and impurity. The five aggregates, birthplaces, faculties, and colors. The five things to be known are practiced with the power of wisdom. The same is true for Vajra, Jewel, Lotus, and the other four. The five things to be accomplished are accomplished through realization, habituation, and power. Thus it is said. Furthermore, there are two types of vows: those taken all at once without protective boundaries, and those taken gradually with protective boundaries. The latter is also divided into: The peaceful tantra says: Whoever dwells in this mandala should be protected and restrained, and should be taken by distinguishing between common, special, and additional. Thus it is said. The confession ritual says: Like common and special, etc. The first is: The protective boundaries of the vows of individual liberation and outer tantras, which are generally known, and the conduct of the Wheel of Time.

The twenty-fifth entry: the vows of the five families, etc. The second is: the uncommon root and branches just explained. The third is: In the Peaceful Tantra, it says, "Do not destroy the throne of the king of beasts." etc. There are twenty items indicated by words with hidden meanings. These are what a mantra practitioner, who abides in the common and uncommon, should protect during practice, etc., and are therefore indicated by the word 'extraordinary.' The third is: In the Vajra Mind, Vast as Space, it says: "Non-existence and Oneness, mixture, spontaneously accomplished, are devoid of all moral discipline to be protected." And: "Because of non-inherent existence, it is said to be non-existent. In the mind, all is one, considered as one. Because wisdom does not cease to be directly abandoned, it is known as mixture. Because all phenomena that appear in this way are perfected in the mind of faith and enlightenment, I have shown it to be spontaneously accomplished." Likewise, first, in order to obtain the vows that have not yet been obtained, one receives empowerment. In the meantime, in order to protect them from being impaired, one knows the boundaries of protection, and one has respect for the vows, including the one who makes the vows. One is free from carelessness and possesses mindfulness and awareness. And one has destroyed the afflictions of one's own mind-stream. Furthermore, the reason why the vows of the three vajras of the root are called Lama is because one's own body, speech, and mind are bound inseparably with the three vajras of the Lama, the embodiment of all Buddhas. Or, if derived from the word 'Guru', it means heavy, that is, if broken, it is difficult to purify. The second is: Twenty-five branches under the power of means: taking what is not given, lying, and frivolous words. Five things to be practiced are practiced by knowing what is permitted and forbidden. Five afflictions, such as desire and hatred. Five things not to be abandoned are those that are separate from one's own mind-stream. Excrement, urine, corpse, blood, semen. Five things to be accepted are purity, decay, duality, severance. Five aggregates, sources, faculties, colors. Five things to be known are practiced with the power of wisdom. Vajra, Jewel, Lotus, and Action, likewise are the four. Five things to be accomplished are accomplished by realization, habituation, and power. So it is said. Furthermore, there are two types of vows: immediate vows without protective boundaries, and gradual vows with protective boundaries. In the latter, in the Peaceful Tantra, it says: "Whoever abides in this mandala, should be protected and restrained, with common, uncommon, and extraordinary, by distinguishing."
